It’s been two weeks since we last said goodbye to Pickles, and our hearts are just as heavy. Pickles and his family were one of our first clients after we first moved to Portland and started dog sitting again, and he immediately became a big part of our lives and our Puppanion pack. His passing was a shock to all and broke our hearts. Pickles always had a huge smile on his face, and had so much love to give around to all pets and humans. He truly was an instant best friend to everyone he met. We are so grateful to his amazing family for allowing us to say goodbye one last time. We know he is having a blast in doggy heaven, where he can play never ending chuck-it and wrestle with all his new friends. We love and miss you Pickles.

🚨 ADOPTION ALERT! PLEASE RESHARE 🚨

This is a little different than most of our announcements, but a fellow Puppanion pup needs to be rehomed. Meet Rodan, the charming young black German Shepherd who's searching for a forever home! 🏡🐾

Rodan is a soon-to-be 2-year-old sweetheart, celebrating his birthday on August 5th. This handsome pup is incredibly intelligent and highly motivated to please his handlers.

While Rodan has an abundance of love to give, he could benefit from a patient and committed owner who can provide the training and guidance he needs. Rodan is reactive on leash, so a calm and structured environment will help him thrive. We trained him to walk decently with a gentle leader within a few days, but he still need work with his reactivity. With the right guidance and gradual exposure, he can learn to manage his excitement levels effectively.

But don't let that deter you! Rodan is fantastic with other dogs and absolutely adores wrestling with his furry pals. Additionally, he's a ball enthusiast and will gladly engage in playful fetch sessions with you.

In a home setting, Rodan tends to be chill and relaxed. He has no chewing problems and is quite the foodie, making training a breeze with his food motivation!

If you're ready to open your heart and home to this extraordinary black German Shepherd, Rodan is eagerly awaiting his perfect match. Let's find him the loving family he deserves!
