It’s a show weekend for us in Twin Falls, Idaho. Today Yeager was Winners Dog, Best of Winners, Best Opposite and Owner Handled Best of Breed for 2 more points toward his AKC championship.

It’s been a while since we updated here. Yeager was proudly AKC pointed in Canby and Coquille this summer, has had eyes recertified and updated on the OFA site, and is now preparing for Idaho shows this weekend and next. He’s a busy dog!

I’m proud to announce that Yeager is now a UKC Grand Champion.

We had a fun show weekend at the NWSW Year End Bash where Scout (a puppy from Yeager’s 1st litter) made his debut to follow his dad with a new UKC Champion title of his own. It was incredible to be in the ring together! Scout was only 6 months and 5 days old - what an achievement!

Updates are long overdue and, to ensure the info isn't lost, I'll share all the big things that have happened.

Genetic testing is complete for: RCD4 (clear), DM (clear), E Locus (clear), VWD1 (clear) and certificates are available upon request.

Genetic Diversity Testing: Canine Genetic Diversity results for Coplar's Blazing Yeager(NCD190014) are on Better Bred.

Eye and heart test results are on OFA with hips to follow, although the prelim was good: https://ofa.org/advanced-search/?appnum=2335093

UKC Championship is confirmed and now Yeager will work toward a grand champion title but in the meantime, he's making so many new friends. Thank you for all the support! Come to Longview, WA October 1 & 2 to see him in action!

Our next IABCA show is in Ridgefield, WA October 22 & 23. Yeager's titles include NatCH, IntCH and HnrCh and we love participating in these fun shows.

Yeager's pedigree is being updated at Poodle Data with the full name NatCH IntCH HnrCH UCH Coplar's Blazing Yeager CGC CGCA CGCU TKN SPOT-ON. What a mouthful!

We've earned a few new titles: CGCA, CGCU and SPOT-On. Yeager has a qualifying scent work score and is now registered as a Therapy Dog with Pet Partners.

Last but not least, Yeager's first puppies arrived: 7 gorgeous, healthy standard poodle puppies (4 brown, 3 black) with wonderful temperaments. They'll perform beautifully in whatever they pursue and we're excited to learn about their adventures.

It's been a busy summer!

Pending confirmation of points, Yeager is a new UKC Champion and was recognized by several judges as a stand-out dog in a very competitive group. He’s having a big week with final OFA testing scheduled along with additional genetic testing before the next show.

After a long weekend of shows, I’m wiped! I’m also the proud recipient of IABCA National and Honors Champion titles and Best of Breed recognition. Many thinks to Shiela, Heather, and my Coplar Creek family! ❤️
