This sweet cat named Tony is looking for a new home. Estimated to be 4 years old. Neutered and overall healthy. Has some skin allergies (we can help with that). Very playful and very cuddly. Gets along with both dogs and cats. Has been indoor/outdoor but doesn’t seem to mind being indoor only. Uses a litter box well, doesn’t spray or scratch furniture, not a picky eater. The state issued an alert Christmas Eve about Morasch Meats of Portland’s voluntary recall of Northwest Naturals’ two-pound feline turkey recipe.

New adverse side effects were just published about the (relatively new) veterinary drug Librela, with the FDA requiring updating the product label.

We have never carried this drug in our practice - holistic vets have been cautious about the adverse effects that clients reported as soon as the drug became available. We know, acupuncture and herbal medicine are generally much safer ways to address arthritis in dogs.

The FDA has identified and analyzed adverse events in dogs treated with Librela (bedinvetmab injection).
