The have a vet appointment this morning, then they are off to their permanent foster on IG or Hazelkittens on FB. This group came in with mild upper respiratory infection & conjunctivitis. Norway & Greenlands’ conjunctivitis has gotten worse, even with the Rx eye drops so they will likely get a new treatment plan. Everyone is sneezing & weight gains aren’t the best. I know their new foster home will take great care of them as they are longtime fosters & foster mentors. If you sent a wishlist item (I got a few this morning) it will go with them or I will use with my mom & kittens coming in next week. If you are one of the many who DMd me about possible adoption, once they are healthy & six weeks old the new foster will begin pre-adoptions. I will miss these cutie patooties.♥️

New short-term fosters in the house! I’ll have these guys for a week or so while their permanent CAT foster recovers from an illness. Meet the who are 3ish weeks old. No mom as they were brought in to the county shelter then transferred to CAT. Three male, 3 female & they each are matching sets.

Nylon & Rayon are brothers who I’d love to see go home together. Dozzer was an add-on to my duo. He’s a couple weeks older. I do have an interested party for Dozzer, so if interested you’d be backup if it falls through. Neuter & go-home date scheduled for 7/11/24.

Rayon & Nylon are 5 weeks old! On Tuesday we got a new friend, Dozzer. His foster is traveling & he needed some friends to hang out with. He is 6.5 weeks old, but the same weight as Ray & Lon.
Note: these 3 will NOT be part of CAT’s Kitten Palooza…they’re too young.

Nelson & Coville (new names tbd) just left this evening to their forever homes. Nelson has two new kitty brothers & Coville has two new kitty sisters.

All three boys are officially pre-adopted. Brothers Nylon & Rayon are going home together to a family with a 9 year old human. Dozzer will be named Bailey & will have a 14 month old kitty brofur. Neuters are Thursday & go home is Friday.

Welcome newbies!

Steel will be reunited with his two sisters, Silver & Mercury, later today. All three are being spayed/neutered today at CAT & will be coming to foster with me. These three were trapped a couple months ago in SE Portland by the PDX Cat Trapper team. The kittens have been in foster care separately with PDXCT fosters to socialize with humans & the girls had intake at CAT yesterday. They are ready for adoption & would love a kitty friend in their new homes. The girls should be on CAT’s website soon or message me if interested. Steel has a potential adopter working through the adoption process.

Welcome our newest foster & last foster of 2023. Steel is a 6 month old male grey tabby. He goes in for neuter 12/26/23 & is available for pre-adoption. Fostered through Cat Adoption Team.

The tiniest of the litter, Magic Gnome, has more energy today! They are 7 weeks old. The biggest two tortoiseshell kittens weigh 1.5 lbs.

Huck & Blue went to their new home today! They will have three adult kitties & a lab dog 🐶 n their new home, as well as free vet care for life from their human mom who’s a vet!

About Us

We are a mother / daughter duo that has been fostering for Cat Adoption Team in Sherwood, Oregon since 2011. We have fostered cats and kittens ranging from young orphaned kittens to pregnant cats and moms with babies.

Our foster kittens become pre-adoptable once they turn 6 weeks old and have had their first vaccination. Kittens then go to their new homes once they are spayed / neutered at 8+ weeks old. Any potential adopters must live in or near Portland, OR. Adoptable kittens, foster parent contact information, and adoption policies and fees are featured on CAT’s Kitten List (linked below).
