There are 2 Danes at the Multnomah County Shelter (Troutdale location)
Go to Multcopets.org for their complete details and contact the shelter if you are interested.
I met them and they are both very friendly. They are very bonded and stuck pretty close together when they were loose in the yard.
Again, please contact the shelter for details.

COURTESY POST"
Contact owner for more info.
Aimé Maxwell
phone number is 541-300-9220.

She sent this information:
I got Angel from the Bend, OR Humane Society. I am relinquish her because of her high energy and excitable nature. She is constantly hurting my 7 year old by accident and he is practically begging me to send her to another family. Despite my best efforts I can not get her to calm down around my child or otherwise.

She is very playful and would do well with other large breed dogs. I'm afraid she would accidentally hurt a small breed by playing too rough. She isn't aggressive towards cats but she likes to chase them and try to play. I would not recommend a household with small children because of her high energy. I think she would do well with a fenced in yard to run in. I adopted her from the Humane Society in July so I don't know much about her history. She is a bit mouthy and gets excited easily and starts trying to jump on people when she's excited. She does well on the leash until she sees something that excites her. Then she starts tugging and trying to jump. She'd do well with an experienced Dane owner and someone who has the time to work with her. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchiped, housebroken, and crate trained. Her stomach was also tacked to prevent bloating.

COURTESY POST FOR OREGON HUMANE:
Meet Bigelow. He is 3 years old, but still thinks he is a pup. He would do best with someone who has Dane experience as he has LOTS of energy and can be mouthy. He was adopted for 2 weeks, but returned as he was too much for the resident cats.
For more information on Bigelow, please contact Annika at OHS in the B-Mod.
