Do you love Yellowstone too? So many believable cowboys and good riding on it! beautiful horses too!

Cole Hauser’s treatment of the horses on the set of Yellowstone goes far beyond the usual actor-animal dynamic. For him, these animals are part of the team, deserving care, respect, and protection. His dedication to the well-being of the horses has made a lasting impression on everyone involved in the show.

Every morning on set, Cole is often seen arriving early to visit the stables. He carefully checks on the horses, ensuring they are well-fed, hydrated, and ready for the day’s work. He takes the time to brush their coats and speak to them in a soothing voice, forming a bond that calms even the most anxious animals. It’s not just about preparing them for the scenes; Cole genuinely enjoys these quiet moments, reinforcing trust and mutual respect.

During one shoot, a sudden loud noise spooked a horse, causing it to rear and panic. Without hesitation, Cole stepped in, gently holding the reins and calming the horse with soft words and a steady hand. Crew members later shared how impressed they were by his composure and ability to connect with the animal, describing it as a display of genuine horsemanship.

Cole also advocates for the horses' well-being behind the scenes. If he notices any signs of discomfort or fatigue, he immediately brings it to the attention of the wranglers, ensuring the animals receive the rest and care they need. His actions reflect a deep understanding of the hard work these animals contribute to Yellowstone and the legacy of the cowboy way of life.

Taylor Sheridan, a cowboy himself, has often praised Cole’s natural ability with horses, saying it adds an authenticity to Rip Wheeler’s character that cannot be faked. Cole’s bond with the horses has not only enriched the show but also set a standard of care and respect that inspires everyone on set.
