🚨Pyrethrin Toxicity in Cats: A Serious Emergency 🚨

Pyrethrins and pyrethroids, commonly found in flea and tick products, can be highly toxic to cats! Even small exposures—like using a dog’s flea treatment on a cat—can cause severe poisoning and require immediate veterinary attention.

⚠️ Symptoms of Pyrethrin Toxicity in Cats:
🐱 Muscle tremors or twitching
🐱 Drooling or foaming at the mouth
🐱 Seizures or uncontrolled shaking
🐱 Vomiting or diarrhea
🐱 Difficulty walking or weakness
🐱 Elevated body temperature

🩺 Diagnosis & Treatment:
🔬 Diagnosis: Based on clinical signs and recent exposure history
💉 Treatment:
✅ Immediate decontamination (bathing to remove toxins from fur)
