The absolute winner in the show jumping ring but with his cute jump and quiet personality, he has proven to excel in the hunter and equitation rings this season as well. “Makes his rider look like a genius.” Goes in a rubber snaffle, minimal show prep.

NHE is proud to offer “Push to Start” aka Rascal for lease or sale to the perfect home. Rascal is a 2010, carded medium pony by Llamdefalle Better By Far.

Rascal is the perfect first pony to take a child up through the ranks, suitable for walk trot through the Children’s Hunter ponies. He boasts year end championships from NEHC, MHC, SEHA, and CCH. This season he has been winning Children’s Hunter Pony classes all over New England, including at the Vermont Summer Festival and Fieldstone Show Park. He recently won Reserve Champion at the RI Equitation Championships in the 2’ Final.

Nora Harris Equestrian is seeking a dedicated, hard working individual to add to our incredible team and expanding business. NHE is a full service barn located at the Aquidneck Club in Portsmouth, RI. We offer all services from pony rides to Grand Prix show jumping instruction, and cater to children and adults. We have a fantastic staff, wonderful customers, and the best horses.

Position is full time, salaried, and includes a week paid vacation time. Extra commission for pro-rides and instruction (for the right candidate), clipping, braiding, shipping, etc.

Responsibilities include feeding, turn in/out, grooming, basic first aid and horse care. NO stalls.

The Sandy Point Show was a win for ! Samantha Camara & Fabulous earned top ribbons in the Junior Equitation Medals, with many finals qualifying wins! As well, we had two riders earn tri-colored Champion ribbons including Sophie Waite & Westlife in the Children’s Equitation, and Kristie Ledsworth & Cari9 in the Modified Adult Equitation! Congratulations to all!
