I hate to do this, but due to rising credit card fees, I will be going to CASH ONLY January 2024.
The fees are KILLING small businesses!

THIS is why we always say “cash is appreciated. Card is accepted”
💲Please understand what NOT
using cash is doing.

Cash is important. 💸

Why should we pay cash everywhere we can
with banknotes instead of a credit card? 💳

- I have a $50 banknote in my pocket.
Going to a restaurant and paying for dinner with it. The restaurant owner then uses the bill to pay for the laundry. The laundry owner then uses the bill to pay the barber. The barber will then use the bill for shopping.

After an unlimited number of payments, it will still remain a $50, which has fulfilled its purpose to everyone who used it for payment and the bank has jumped dry from every cash payment transaction made...

- But if I come to a restaurant and pay digitally - Card, and bank fees for my payment transaction charged to the seller are 3%, so around $1.50 and so will the fee $1.50 for each further payment transaction or owner re laundry or payments of the owner of the laundry shop, or payments of the barber etc.....

Therefore, after 30 transactions, the initial $50 will remain only $5 😫 and the remaining $45 became the property of the bank 🏦 thanks to all digital transactions and fees.

Small businesses need your help and this is one way to help ourselves too. Pull small draws of cash out at a time and use that instead of tap, credit, etc.

When this is put into perspective, imagine what each retailer is paying on a monthly basis in fees at 3% per transaction through their POS machine.

If they have, for example, $50,000 in sales & 90% are by Card, they are paying $1500 in fees in ONE Month. $18,000 in a year! That comes out of their income every month.

That would go a long way to helping that small business provide for its family!🏦♥️"

I copied this from someone else. Very interesting and it really made me stop and think about using cash more often. (And as a small business owner, we truly appreciate when you use cash for this exact reason!)

It seems as if summer is FINALLY HERE!
With that being said, we are booking into end of June as of now, we are working as hard as we can to get your pups out in a reasonable timeframe and accommodate as many people as we can,
If you haven’t gotten a text or call from us, your pup is NOT finished!
Calling only puts us further behind as we have to stop, put the pet we are working on down and answer the phone. We had 37 phone calls yesterday during business hours.
There are only 2 of us, please give us grace.

To our amazing, loyal AND future clients:
We appreciate every single penny you have supported and grown this busniess. From a mere 150(ish) client list to over 500 returning clients this year ALONE.
Thank you all SO MUCH!!
With that being said, we have to update some policy’s.
Starting January first,
If you No show an appointment, this includeds canceled appointment within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time, AND no later than 15 minutes past your scheduled appointment, we will be enforcing a strict no show policy.

First No Show- A $25 fee for EACH pet with a missing appointment and a card put on file.

Second No Show- 50% of your groom price charged and must prepay for your next appointment.

Third No Show- We will have to give your spot up to someone else OR you will be required to pay 100% of your missed appointment and Pre Pay for all future appointments.

As much as I HATE to do this, we are ALL commission based, we lose out on THOUSANDS each year because of missed appointments. This is our lively hood, this is how we feed our families. We can’t make a living off excuses.

When you no show your appointment- someone else was waiting to get in. Unfortunately we can’t call someone else in when we are already 15 minutes into our scheduled time with your pet. This ensures we are about to continue providing your pet and others with the best experience and not rushing their spa day.

Please understand and if any TRUE emergencies are present, please let us know and we will see what can be done. We love each and everyone of you and appreciate all your support over this last VERY successful year.

(Our full price is $65-$120+)
