RKR is dedicated to providing Top Notch Dog Boarding, Pet Sitting, Doggy DayCare, Nail Trimming services & Saving the lives of Abandoned, Stray, Abused dogs.
My name is Shara Hickling, I’m the owner of RKR. I started RKR back in 2015 when I rescued my first Pit Bull, Rosey. I’m 21 years old and an avid dog lover/animal lover. I currently have 3 Pit bulls- Rosey- American Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier 5 yrs old, Riley- American Staffordshire Terrier/ mix 3 yrs old, Remy- American Bulldog Mix 1 year old & 1 Purebred German Shepherd - Blaze 1 yrs old & 2 cats- O DSH 4 yrs old, Simba - DSH 1 yrs old & 1 Rabbit- Oreo Dwarf Rabbit approx. 2 years old.
We are a home-based Kennel & Rescue. RKR is located in Potterville Mi, behind my house which sits on 28 acres & 1/4 mile off the road. Our facility is 24x32 pole barn, currently has 4 kennels, extra large fenced in area for extreme playing/ hyper dogs. The fence will be 6-7 feet high with 1 feet buried to prevent diggers from escaping. The fence will approx. 11,000 sq ft.
During your pets stay either Dog Boarding or In home care we will send you lots of pictures (if you request) and updates about your beloved furry family members. We always monitor group plays or even just one on one play to make sure every one involved is safe and having fun. We always do a meet n greet before accepting a dog into our facility or before we agree to do in home care, for not only our safety but for our other clients as well.
