No 7 of the Lady Butterfly Series. Jean’s Butterfly is a 7″ X 5″ painting, done with watercolor and ink. The painting itself is painted on 140 lb hot pressed professional watercolor paper and comes mounted in a 10″ x 8″ inch black mat, custom cut to fit the 7″ x 5″ art piece with white trim. This painting can be mounted in a common 10×8 inch frame of your choice. Please note: A frame is not included with this purchase. This is a perfect painting for a smaller wall space.

The background of this painting is done in hues of magenta. The butterfly itself is painted with hues of orange, yellow and black inks. This butterfly sits upon light orange flowers. This painting is dedicated to the artist’s aunt and named after her, Jean’s Butterfly.

All original paintings come with the artist’s Certificate of Authenticity.

This is an open print item, which means that the artist may sell an undetermined number of prints of this artwork.

Pixie - Polymer Clay Post Dangle Earrings. $15.00
These adorable post earrings are made with blue polymer clay to create the flowers. The festive leaves are made of blue, green and white clay. The clay is formed into a cane, just like a candy cane, reduced and then sliced to make the leaves. This process gives a very detailed and tiny pattern. The leaves dangle on glass seeds of green. The ear posts are made of surgical steel. The flower itself measures about 1/2 inch round. They hang a bit less than 1- 1/2 inches long. These earrings are very very light in weight and won’t pull on your ear. So very cute!
