Looking to sell/rehome some pigs!

Unfortunately we have come to the conclusion we need to shut down our farm operation, and are needing to get our pigs off the property ASAP.

We have:
1 proven breeding registered meishan sow (Penny, 2yo)
1 Berkshire boar (2 yo)
1 Mixed breed (mostly Berkshire) boar (1 yo)
1 proven breeding registered IPP sow (1 yo)
--she has 3 piglets currently (not purebred)
And about 30 pigs from 3-12 months old - gilts and barrows. Most pure meishan, some meishan/berk.

We'd like at least $100/each, but at this point we just need them off the property and don't want to prematurely slaughter when we don't even have room in our freezers.

We are so incredibly thankful to our local food banks and food vendors, who are kind enough to set aside produce for us that is considered "unfit" for human consumption!

Here at Madd Hadders we have a passion for reducing food waste, and all our animals are spoiled with fresh (if a little bruised) produce on a daily basis. We get so much food that would otherwise be going to a landfill just because it's not pretty enough to sit on a shelf, or because too much was ordered and it sat a day too long.

When you order pork from us you are not only getting local pork that isn't raised in a cramped factory farm, but pork from pigs that are fed delicious and nutritious food that makes them *happy* not just fat!

Today we went up to check on Mama Mala and see if she is going to be a good parent... and were surprised to find ANOTHER mother on the farm! Explains why we were getting so few eggs from our free roam flock 🤣🐣🐣

Piglets are 5 days old and eating great. We have 4 boys and 3 girls. At 12 months old Pigs will weigh in at 400ish lbs. We are Accepting presales of pork for 3 more Pigs. We will have another litter (from our 3 yr old female Meishan) In the next few weeks. Once we know a number, we will begin presales on that litter. With your help we plan to donate 1 pig.
