Happy Father's Day from AKC Bernese Mountain Dog Ranch.

Our youngest daughter's birthday was this past week.

My musically gifted husband gifted her with a special song, from her husband's perspective, about her Golden Retriever (Thelma Lou) and her Bernese Mountain Dog (Dolly Dooh).

Hope you enjoy it too!

Those two dogs that she adores
Were playing in the yard.

I said, “Is that your shoe I see
Them tugging on so hard?”

“It is,” He said, with a smile.
“The second one this week.”

“Why would you put up with this mess?”
I sternly asked with a shriek.

But before the kids run off to play, here's an important 🐕 DOGGY DOS & DON'TS 🐕 for summer break:

With lazy days and boundless energy, summer is prime time for pups and playdates. While the two make the sweetest of companions, a little precaution can prevent a whole lot of trouble.

Remind the kids to always approach dogs slowly, let the pup sniff their hand first, and never disturb a dog that's eating or sleeping. And of course, adult supervision is a must for any puppy playtime.

A little safety-minded guidance now means everyone can enjoy a summer of sunshine, laughter, and (carefully monitored) doggy cuddles! 🐶 💕

With school out and youngsters underfoot all day, it's the perfect time for some mischievous mutts and rambunctious rugrats to cross paths. While the playful potential is pawsitively delightful, a little precaution can prevent a whole lot of trouble.

Our ten 6.5-week-old puppies spent two days bringing smiles to the residents of a local Cody, WY Senior Living Center. It was a great socialization opportunity for the puppies.

What kind of tray do you use for your puppy potty tray, with the pine pellet bedding? 2.5". But wait. Thats a great question someone just shared. After privately responding, I wanted to answer it here on my page(s) too.

We use one of these washing machine drain trays. This link is to Walmart, but we can buy them at Lowes, Home Depot and most hardware stores.
