Zephyr's Way Stable Zephyr's Way Stable is an interactive hunter/jumper lesson barn offering beginner through advanced intermediate lessons in Powhatan, VA.

The farm creates a comfortable and convenient learning environment with its beautiful outdoor arena, spacious all-weather lighted indoor arena, and our outdoor round pen. Several items up for grabs at the barn. Many students have left things that they have outgrown to pass along to others. Please help yourself to half chaps and gloves on the white table in the aisle and any of the shoes and riding clothes in the office!

Fall barn party is November 2nd starting around 6PM. Sign up for the horse costume decorating is in the office. Families and friends are invited. Students are invited to bring a tent and blankets and spend the night in the indoor. Pizza and breakfast provided! Please bring a dessert and/or horse treats!

I want to give a huge congratulations to Compton Sprinkle for her acceptance into law school at Washington and Lee! While we are all sad that this means she will no longer be teaching with us, we are so happy for her and all of her accomplishments! I have really enjoyed having her with us the last couple of years and watching her talent flow over to her own students 💜💜💜🦄🦄🦄. Best of luck on your new adventures!!!! Our two newest rescues, Rex and Twilight are getting settled in! They are both well mannered and well trained. They will be getting veterinary and farrier care, and riding time to get back in shape before rehoming. These make number 7 and 8 for us over the last year. Huge shout out to everyone who chips in with getting these horses happy and healthy!

We have a new instructor starting lessons this July! Mary Beth Farley has been riding since 2007. She started with a focus on the Hunter and Equitation world, but more recently has expanded out to the breaking and training of race horses. She has a life long passion for horses specifically making their minds and bodies happy. She’s worked under several professionals and enjoys training and competing with her two horses in the rated and local hunters. We are looking forward to having her on our team!
