Sunshine, also know as Sunny has an orange cat personality all the way around. She loves pets, until she doesn't. But then she does... right? Honestly, she's not really quite sure. But she'll love on you and take the pets until she decides. All of her babies were adopted long ago so now she just waits patiently for someone to choose her. Dante can be a little shy at first but as soon as he realizes you're the one giving him the wet food, he quickly warms up. He has quite possibly the softest fur I've ever felt and that little white stripe on his nose only adds to his uniqueness. I'm reducing his adoption fee to $40 because he deserves to finally find someone willing to dote on him and provide him with only the softest of blankets. He is neutered and has had his rabies and distemper shots.

Miss Pippy is ready and willing to give you her full attention. When she first came to me, she was in pretty rough shape, pregnant, underweight, sickly. But now, at around 1.5 years old, she is finally healthy, an extremely happy and loving girl, ready to put her past behind her. In order to try to find her a great home soon, I'm reducing her adoption fee to $40. She's already spayed and had both her rabies and distemper shots. Ricky is a sweet little GIRL... yes, I did think she was a boy when I named her... who was very recently spayed. She is the epitome of all things kitten. Playful, loving, a little bit of a monster but mostly just wants her own home to explore and new best friends ro play with. Her adoption fee is $70 and she comes already spayed with shots.

Mickey turns a year old the beginning of September and has been with me 99% of that time. He's playful and loving and couldn't be any more of a perfect addition to a family. Please consider him as your next best friend with a reduced adoption fee of only $40, he comes neutered with his shots.

Even though Mia hasn't been here long, I'm offering a reduced adoption fee in the hopes that she'll quickly find her forever home. Popcorn is such a happy, handsome young man. He's one of the first to greet you and will put his whole body into getting your attention. He was abandoned months ago but that gave him the chance to get neutered, healthy and learn all about being loved. In an attempt to help some of my longer term residents find homes, I'm lowering some adoption fees. Daisy here is 100% for this plan as she's been hoping every day for someone to be interested in loving her. Daisy just turned 2 in May. She's still a young lady but prefers a good cuddle to destroying everything like some of her smaller companions. She does well with other cats and dogs. Her adoption fee is only $40. How can you pass her up for that? She's spayed and had her rabies and distemper shot.

Mickey doesn't really understand how not a single person is interested in having a forever friend that follows them absolutely everywhere. He's just shy of a year old and a petite little guy who's only rule in life is that he gets all the wet food, all the time. He's a lover and a playful little guy who just wants to find his person. Preferably one who has already invested in a large cabinet that they've filled with wet food. Any wet food. That's all for him. Seriously, he deserves it and a lap of his own. Beautiful Mia is finally ready to find her forever home. Sadly, she was once a house cat who was tossed out of her house and left to fend for herself. The original plan was to TNR her but after realizing that she was one of the sweetest cats I'd ever met, we decided to see if we could find her a human who would love her enough for her to forget all the bad that had happened. I know, you all are jealous. Jen, once again, is hogging the cutest, sweetest, tiniest little monsters one could ever hope to hold. For the price of a text message and a quick drive to my house, you too can wipe poopy butts, fear for your fingers when you set down food and wonder how long it will take to get your hearing back after listening to them scream for 5 minutes because apparently you aren't setting their food down fast enough 🙄 Seriously tho, there are 3 things I could use from anyone who's read this far. 1. Stop over and help me socialize any and all of my available cats (costs nothing but your time, I won't even talk to you if you aren't interestedin my company 🤣). 2. Share the available cats/kittens I have my foster page (space at the Stoehr Inn is becoming nonexistent) or 3. Were you all aware that kitten season never actually ends for those of us in animal rescue? That for every time I say yes, there's 10 times I say no? When I say no to taking on the cat you sent want to care for any more or offer to TNR instead of keeping them with the slim possibility of adoption... it's so I can help the desperately tiny babies like these. Pray to whatever God you can that these guys will keep fighting to survive and my sanity will stay intact because I'll need all the help I can get and so will they ❤

I have a fun favor to ask of you all! This here is little momma. Last week I got a call about Leo, the adorable little black and white guy I posted. When I picked him up, after talking to the people feeding him, I found out there were about a half a dozen cats coming and going that they rook it upon themselves to feed after some nasty neighbors threw them out a few years ago. The cats had continued to multiply which is always a problem. I asked if they'd care if I sent up a live trap and TNR'd the group. They're happy to keep feeding them and excited to stop the cycle of babies. Momma here was our first catch then we caught both of the males. There's still a few to go but this certainly helps! Now here's my favor! Momma here is super tame as you can see. We've all agreed once she's spayed, I'm going to try to find her a home. Until then, she needs a better name than Momma. She deserves a great name. Her Momma days are over and we want to celebrate that 🥰 So throw me your best suggestions!! And in a week, she'll be available for adoption. Tell your friends, she's a lover and needs an amazing home ❤

I wish more people cared about little guys like this and even more so the adult cats that led to him. 9-10 weeks old. Full of fleas, worms, laying outside in this nasty heat that most people won't go out in themselves. All it takes is one person to give a damn and reach out. Tonight he's been bathed, had flea meds and dewormer, a comfy bed, good food. And there's a plan to SPAY AND NEUTER his parents and the other cats where he came from so this doesn't continue to happen. It is a never ending cycle and us rescuers cannot continue to do it alone. We are overwhelmed, exhausted and there is NO MORE ROOM. Start fostering, adopting, donating, volunteering. An hour a week, an hour a month, one bag of food, literally anything you do helps your community.

I have soooo many black cats available for adoption and with Halloween right around the corner, now is the time to find your perfect little black cat! Casey, Midnight, Jasper, Popcorn and Binx are all young adult male cats with the sweetest personalities. If you enjoy being followed from room to room, rubbed against constantly and begged for affection, I can guarantee I have a match for you! I also have several black kittens who will be ready to be adopted in about a month who are well on their way to become even bigger cuddle bugs. Honestly, you just can't go wrong with the cats who are often overlooked because they always make the best friends ❤

It's so hard to get good pictures of kittens and Peep is no exception. She follows me from room to room attacking my feet like a typical kitten only to start purring and cuddle right up to me the second I pick her up. Tomorrow she goes to get spayed and then she'll be available for adoption. Her fee is $70 and it would be great if she would have some other animals siblings to play with as she is a very social gal.

What a day!!! For starters, I'd like to throw out a huge thank you to whoever left the kennels, carrier and litter box at my house. You are soooo appreciated! 2 calls tonight for 2 separate babies. The first was a live trapped kitten who's just a little spicy. She'll get spayed this Thursday and already has a home to go to (provided everything goes well). Then, just as I get her settled, I get a message about a kitten we spent some time looking for last night but we're unable to locate. After 30 minutes of climbing through bushes and crawling underneath a van, the second spicy little man is now safe with me. Neither is excited about being caught but both went to town on the wet food so many of you helped me out with. It takes a village sometimes!

Honey was a pregnant momma when she first came to me and she was so sweet, Honey was just the perfect name for her. Her kittens are all grown and adopted out and she's been waiting patiently for someone smart enough to want a grown, calm companion instead of a crazy little monster of a kitten. She's still quite active as she is a young girl, estimated to be around 2 years old but her favorite things are wet food and head scratches. Like all my fosters, she is already spayed and has had her shots so she is ready and willing to light up your home.

Mickey is the type of kitten you get when you wonder what it would be like to have a toddler running around but don't want the actual responsibility of a child.Essentially, he can be attacking your foot one second, knocking everything off the counter the next, then nuzzling up to give you kitten kisses and snuggles the next. He's 8 months old but is small for his age. He's the perfect kitten for an active household that's looking for cheap entertainment. His adoption fee is $70, he's neutered and has all his shots and is ready for his forever home whenever you're ready to come get him. You may want to stock up on wet food though because he will beg and give you the eyes until you give in.

Good afternoon everyone! Last night I took in another feral momma and her 2 babies (yes there are 2 in this pic, if you look hard you'll see his butt 😂). That means I currently have 2 mommas with a total of 11 kittens plus all of my teenage and adult cats. If there is anyone who is looking to donate, I have my Amazon wish list posted at both the top of my personal and foster page. These small can of kitten/cat food are ideal for feeding the babies and nursing moms. I also wouldn't say no to cans of friskies, disinfectant wipes, paper towels or pretty much anything on my wish list. Mom will be spayed and released in about a month, then kittens will be neutered and up for adoption so keep an eye out because they are stinkin cute!! I truly appreciate everyone who supports what I do, even when it's sharing posts or words of encouragement. I seriously couldn't do it without you ❤

Don't worry... when you took off and left your animals in the apartment with moldy food, litterboxes that hadn't been changed in weeks and the only source of water a dripping sink tap... I came and got them. When Pippy had 2 stillborn kittens, I held her and conforted her. I took her to the vet and got her spayed and fed her high protein food because she was underweight when she came to me. When Binx's eyes were matted shut from infection and Popcorn could barely breathe from an upper respiratory... I took them to the vet and gave them meds every day until they were better. I give them love and search high and low for the perfect forever home for them while making sure they have vet care and comfy beds and good food and treats.

In the last year I've taken in owner surrenders, feral moms and kittens, kittens who've lost their moms, cats who've been dumped, cats who've been live trapped and are scared to death. I've been bitten, scratched, peed and pooped on. Every single one gets vet care including spays or neuters, rabies and distemper shots. There are cat trees and fuzzy blankets in every room of my house. Twice a day I fill food bowls and water dishes and clean out anything that needs it. Every night after working 9 hours, I make sure everyone has their wet food and spend hours cleaning out litter boxes, wiping out matted eyes and making sure anyone who needs it gets their meds. Now I have so many I'm turning them away left and right. Do better people.

But don't worry... those cats you took off and left, they're finally healthy and oh so loved.
