Behavior Adjustment Training (or BAT) is a type of threshold training where you train around reactivity triggers, both desensitizing and counter-conditioning your dog to become more comfortable. Many people inadvertently expose their dogs to reactivity triggers at levels "above threshold" and then wonder why their training "flies out the window".
