What’s been your favorite thing to learn or experience in your personal horsemanship journey?

3 weeks on this 3 yr old pony. Ridden by my 10 yr old. This pony came in with ground work done and had been backed a year ago. Pony didn’t want to be saddled and ran and jumped away at first so that needed fixed and then when my daughter started riding her she would buck at the lope. No stop and no turn. Acted as if she had not been ridden so we started as if she hadn’t. 3 weeks in and this pony rides outside with no incidents. Hailey is shaping up to be one heck of a horsewoman. To say I’m proud is an understatement.

If you have a pony that needs outside exposure get them in soon before the winter, we do ride all winter long but we haul to the indoor.

It’s almost that time for your foals to go through a baby boot camp. We will be saving some spots for those sweet foals. We will be charging $200 for baby boot camp, your foal will be halter broke, tie, trailer load, and their first trim.

We started this session out with the intention of working on some issues of respecting space and touching up on things that needed to have a little more consistency. As things progressed, things got cleaner, and more progress was made it was obvious that a first ride was going to be a success. This filly was a little sticky in the beginning, but after taking a few steps she loosened up and never took a poor step, never spooked and didn’t even consider taking a jump. Victoria and Lottie-Dottie both did great.
