We finally got official photos from the competition Melissa and Sabrina went to a few weeks ago. They both did amazing and we are proud of them! Sabrina did a Mock Show competition to see how it works and feels doing a grooming competition with Gypsy. She got Honorable Mention since she has only been fully grooming for 6 months training under Melissa and did so well!
Melissa competed in Entry Extreme Creative and placed 2nd with Vixey! This was her first In Ring show so new experience and did great!
We are so proud of both and can't wait to see them compete more!

We are hiring for part time Store Associate/ Daycare Attendant. Need someone able to work Friday/Saturdays. Must love ALL animals and be a team player. This position would be great for high-school student wanting to work after school/ weekends or someone just wanting part time. 16 years or older Always room to move up in the company and learn different positions within the company.

We wanted to officially introduce our newest team member, Tiffany!
Tiffany came to us as an experienced groomer and is originally from Carbon County and we are glad to have her as apart of our team. She is an amazing groomer and is looking forward to learning new things and possibly getting into creative grooming.
A little about her:
"Since I could remember I have been around animals of all sized. I knew growing up someday I would work with animals and here I am today doing something I absolutely love. I would enjoy continuing to enhance my grooming skills and want to strive for excellence. One of the most enjoyable things that comes with the job is meeting all of the different pupper personalities and make connections with them all.
When I am not grooming dogs you can find me hiking the hills with my dog Mercy. Always looking for adventure and having fun."

We hope everyone has a safe and fun holiday weekend! We have some different hours throughout this month. We will be regular hours unless specified different below.

Please remember to keep your pets inside and maybe put some TV on to drown out the firework noise. Even if your pets do good with noise do not leave them out unattended. This weekend is the busiest weekend for shelters and both our shelters are already over capacity so help out by keeping them inside! Also make sure your pets have contact info on their collars in case they get out.

We are a little late but we're waiting for the official photo.
A few staff members were able to go to Teton Grooming Expo in Salt Lake a couple weekends ago and had a blast! Chantelle had an entire weekend full of all different kinds if classes, Melissa competed with her dog Vixey in Exteme Creative Entry Division and took 2nd place out of 6!
Chantelle and Melissa also will soon have their certificates from their Caring for Geriatrics course that went over in detail how to help our senior pets in our care feel comfortable and safe handling for seniors during grooming.
We appreciate our staff for continuing their education and pushing themselves to give the best care to our clients!

We will have modified hours on Friday and Saturday this next week May 6ht-12th due some grooming staff going to Continued Education Classes and another grooming competition. We appreciate all of our amazing clients helping keep our doors open and understanding that we pride ourselves in continuing education to help better serve you and your pets!

With us getting busier we wanted to make a reminder about a few of our policies regarding our services.
Grooming:
- CURRENT RABIES VACCINE IS REQUIRED! This has always been our policy and it is required by the STATE and CITY! We have to see the paperwork showing that pet is current before any grooming services is rendered.
- NO SHOW/CANCELATION POLICY: It states in our consent form that everyone is required to sign before using our services that we require a 24 hr notice BEFORE the appointment or there will be a fee to schedule again. (FEE IS HALF OF THE SERVICE SCHEDULED) Groomers rely on their appointments to make money to support their families. If we have less then 24 hr notice we usually cannot get these spots filled in such short time. We can only take pets 15 minutes before appointment time or after the appointment time. If later then 15 minutes past then ypu may be asked to reaschedule and will incur a fee.
- We have only a few groomers and we try to give quality services while still getting customers in, in a timely manner. We do ask for most pets to be with us for 3-4 hours (small dogs) 4-5 hours (large dogs) so we can give them breaks and clean properly between each one. If the time frame does not work for you then we do offer an Express service where we work on your pup straight through so they are only with us for 1-2 hours or less this is an addition charge (this is only for pets that allow us to dry them fully and need to be scheduled accordingly prior to appointment).
- Typical grooming recommendation is 6-8 weeks for baths and grooms. We do have an extra charge for pets that are not brought in before 12 weeks from last appointment as these pets tend to have a harder time, have longer/thicker coat that takes more time.
Daycare:
- ALL VACCINES MUST BE CURRENT! This is for our staffs safetly as well as all the other pets in our care.
- All pets are required to be spayed/neutered once they are 1 yr old. If under a year they CANNOT come in if they are in heat.
Store:
- LEASHED AND VACCINATED pets are welcome to come in and shop with you. Please keep them leashed and have control of them in case other pets/customers are in the store.

With the warmer weathering coming don't forget to get ypur pup or kitty scheduled for a grooming! We are currently booking out about 1 week for grooms but do have a cancelation list as well.
Want to see what our lead greoomer Melissa has been working on for competitions? Come see us in the St. Patrick's Day parade in Price tomorrow at noon! Our grooming apprentice Sabrina will also have one of her grooms she is working on for competition! So come down and support us and all the other amazing businesses/families in the parade!

From now till March 10th our adults (have 3- 2 males 1 female) will be only $15 with proof of set up, babies(4- 2 males 2 females) will be $25 with proof of set up.

So unfortunately most of Price lost power including us. Price city is working their best to figure out the problem and get it fixed. Once we have an update we will post again.
Luckily we can still check people out on our phone via card, can still take cash, and venmo. Unfortunately we will not be able to do any walk in grooming services till power is restored.

Who is ready for another raffle? We decided to get our Spring raffle started this week! We have a ton of dog toys, treats, puzzle, etc for your pup. We still have 1 more hour and 3 dogs and 1 cats still here looking for their new forever home! If you cant adopt them come by and meet them to foster till they can find a home! Zac the pointer is 4yrs old and very well trained. Lived on a ranch and was used for working dog and hunting.
Athena is a 6 month old shepherdX and is super sweet and energetic.
Hera- is a boxer/pit mix 8-10 weeks old. Big snuggler!

Stormi- is a 1 yr old cat who is quiet and sweet.

So unfortunately Carbon Cat Rescue and a few of Castle Valley Animal Rescue couldnt make it for the adoption event. We will have another event next month with both rescues though!

Fortunately Emery County Animal Shelter brought some amazing dogs and we have one From Castle Valley Animal Rescue here that is ready for her new home! We also have one kitty ready for her new home as well.
So come by today to meet them! We are here till 4pm

We also have our store animals on sale for today! Guinea pigs are $25, $10 off bearded dragons, and our last 2 parakeets are buy one get one half off!

October is one of our high school employees who is in our daycare. She is an extremely hard worker who always is willing to help others and we are glad she is apart of our team!

"I am a high school student; I work in the store and in daycare but I'm also not afraid to get my hands dirty in the bathing room. I love all animals, all shapes and sizes, from the fluffy ones to the slimy, and scaly ones. I am Pet first aid & CPR certified."
