Minnesota Hooved Animal Rescue Foundation has quite a few nice horses looking for homes- and some of them are at HH Stables.

The process is simple. Fill out an adoption application and once approved, you can come for a meet and greet. Our goal is fitting the horse and rider for a good, permanent match, so that the horse isn’t returned.

Since 1994, MHARF in Zimmerman, Minnesota, has been rescuing, rehabilitating, retraining and re-homing horses and other animals in distress.

Cool study- I’d be interested in the affects on behavior. We feed a long stem forage diet to all horses (grass hay provided 24/7) and add grain at lower levels to support vitamin/mineral deficiencies. Our horses maintain great emotional fitness (aka- don’t run away from people in the pasture, handle trailering, event stress and willingness to participate).
