Slow day today, but still having fun with the pups!

The cold has slowed things down. We just have our little Pittie Tucker and our newest member and Rocky The Magnificent, an absolutely beautiful 5yo Shepherd mix with an extraordinary personality with us this morning at PCC. Rocky's been a little down lately with allergies and a nasal infection, but thanks to help from the Lord, prayers to St. Gerasimos, patron Saint of animals, St. Pantelemon, the Unmercinary Healer and help from my veterinarian neighbor, he's doing much better. Thank you Dr Pam!

The beautiful young female Rottweiler, Lillie-Mae has been pursuing Snipe, the young German Shorthaired Pointer since she got here.

You see...you can't always blame the guy! 😆

Kicking off the New Year with none other than Snipe, the loving pain-in-the-butt, but fabulous German Shorthaired Pointer, BobFred, the Lab/Greyhound (?) mixed and of course Tucker our very own ambassador here at PCC.

Meet Bear, the young explosive little Pitty! He's our newest high-energy member at PCC and apparently a club favorite.

Having 4 high-energy young dogs is a challenge. I have to have eyes on the back of my head to make sure they stay out of trouble, but I'm happy they're having so much fun!

Say hello to our newest member Rocky! He just arrived about 45 minutes ago and is immediately at home here. Tucker did his usual fine job of welcoming Rocky and the 2 are now besties. Bobfred gave Rocky a warm welcome as well, but the Marvelous Miss Bagel, not so much. It takes a while for her to warm up to young active, pushy dogs. You can take the dog out of the street, but after 9 years, it's hard to take the street out of the dog. Those old survival instincts run deep!

She knows exactly how to work her way into one's heart. No doubt, it was one of the skills she used to survive abandonment for so many years. Clever girl!

Light day today with just the 2 little ones, Jack-Jack the Chihuahua and Pete, from our wonderful nextdoor neighbor and veterinarian, the lovely Dr. Pam and the ever Marvelous Miss Bagel, one of our monthly subscription daycare members and Tucker.

Of course, Tucker just can't help but sass someone when he's bored! Sorry Pete.
