Today Moxie took Novice Puppy Reserve Best in Show at the UKC show.

Brûlée took BOB in both shows as well. She now has 80/100 champion points and 4/3 required competition wins. A UKC Championship is well within our reach after just 1 weekend.

I’m so proud of both girls!

We had a fantastic day today in UKC conformation.

First show:
Brûlée went Best Female Sheltie, Best of Breed and group 4 (4th place herding dog)!

Moxie was Best of Breed Sheltie and Best Novice Puppy In Show!!!! (Puppies 3-6 months old)

2nd Show:
Brûlée was best female Sheltie and BOB Sheltie.

Moxie was BOB puppy

Both judges had really positive feedback about both girls and I’m excited for their future in conformation and really proud of both girls.

A couple of the tricks Brûlée knows at 6 months old. Never underestimate the ability of a dog to learn new things. She already knows at least 30 commands and has another 5-10 that we are actively working on.

Brûlée earned her Trick Dog Novice (TKN) title today. She’s off to a great start and begins foundation agility classes this week.

Introducing the newest member of Sunny Shelties. Ghost’s daughter from my most recent litter… because 4 dogs wasn’t enough.

Another late post. Gummy Bear earned her DCAT title in June 🥰.

Better late than never, a few months ago Brioche earned her CA (Coursing Ability) title.

They earn it by chasing a lure 600 yards with multiple turns.

Gummy got the hang of it and is one Q away from earning her title as well.
