Sweet Lab anyone?! This guy is at a local shelter in Mpls and is ready for a foster home. Here is what the team say about Harvey: Our 8 month old lab friend came off of his stray hold a couple days ago & needs a forever home! His name is Harvey, he is dog friendly, loves toys, and knows how to sit & shake. We cat tested him through a kennel and he didn't seem interested at all (in a good way). I'm thinking he at least 80% lab, maybe pure bred! He is not neutered but he is up to date on vaccines.

Oh my gosh swoon! This is Penny she is a 1.5 year old spaniel female not spayed. Her current owner saved her from a bad situation, but can’t keep her.

She is approximately 50 lbs. Penny is noted to be house trained and good with all adults and kids. Due to her energy (did we mention she's a springer?) she may knock smaller kids around by accident. Penny is also crate trained and should be crated when not home.
She is treat motivated. She jumps, but is learning not too, pulls on leash but is using gentle leader and is doing a lot better!

Nosey is a 1 year old intact female who was part of a cat colony but too friendly to TNR. Isn’t she gorgeous!

She is litter box trained and good with all ages over 5 and cats (no experience with littles or dogs). She is a sweet little thing who loves to be petted, although she is a little skittish at first, and loves to play. Nosey has discovered a love for catnip toys.

Mr. Snowpants is from a local reservation and is ready to come on our next transport, he just needs a foster home 🥰

He is a beautiful 10/12 month old white shepherd, if he is even that old. Surrendered by an older man. He dropped him off at the veterinarian saying he was injured, but no injury could be found.

He is good with all adult. He is good in his crate, walks well on a leash, and is fine with other dogs and kids.

He is brucellosis negative and up-to-date on his shots but will still need to be neutered.

Do you love your little friends with big ears and trembling hearts? If so this little lady is for you. She is a 10-15 lb lady, 2-3 year old best guess, chihuahua/terrier mix who was found stray and ended up at a local Animal Control. She needs a foster to get out and help her find her forever home. She's a sweet girl who is nervous of sudden moves, so no kids please, but she is eager to please and love. She had tons of fun playing with another little dog she was introduced to, and would probably love a canine friend in her foster home! She'll be a sweetie pie in no time! Let us know if you can help her!

This is Julius! He is from a local reservation. Transport from the reservation will likely be Monday or Tuesday, 10/28 or 10/29. Julius needs a foster home to help him find his forever home.

Julius likes everybody he meets and is good with all dogs. He would love space to run and play and some dog and/or kid friends.

He must’ve had some scary days by himself because he can get little worried sometimes, But he now sees that people are always going to be there for him and he is finally relaxing and is excited for his new life.

The vet called him a cattle dog mix. He is two years old and 40/45 pounds. He is still intact and will need vetting.

Speckle Snoot is a shy boy at a local animal control that would love to get into a quiet foster home. He has started to come out of his den on his terms....and when the food is especially worth it! This boy is 2.5 years old. He is NEUTERED and up to date on all of his shots. He needs someone that can help him learn that humans aren't all bad. He could also be one of those cats that is super scared in the pound but once you get him home to his own room, he's totally fine.

New foster needed!

Johnny Storm is looking for a new foster due to no fault of his. He’s about five months old and 25 pounds.

He is still mastering his potty training and crate training but its doing very well on a schedule. He is up to date and ready to be adopted, he just needs a foster home to help him find his forever home!

JohnnyStorm is a sweet and playful puppy, and he's truly a little bundle of joy. He absolutely adores snuggles and has a quirky love for toys—any kind! Whether it’s a dog toy, a kid’s toy, or even shoes, he’ll happily grab whatever’s nearby. Matchbox cars seem to be a favorite, but Crocs are his go-to shoes, so we definitely have to keep those and the non-dog toys out of reach! He gets along well with everyone—adults, kids, and other dogs too. He has a bit of a playful rivalry with the cat; they love to “exchange words,” with JohnnyStorm barking and the cat hissing in return.

Outdoors is where he really lights up, darting around to chase every scent he can find. With the cooler weather, though, he does shiver a bit. He’s still mastering leash walking, and while he’s learning not to walk in front of us (to avoid getting stepped on), it’s always an entertaining challenge! When it comes to mealtime, he used to be a bit of a grazer, nibbling on breakfast, lunch, or dinner and coming back for more throughout the day. But he's gotten better lately, polishing off about 1/2 to 3/4 of his meal in one sitting. Full of energy and a little sass, JohnnyStorm's daily zoomies are a joy to watch—especially when he’s around other dogs.

Fosters needed! This little group needs a place to stay! Mom and five kittens were found abandoned in a box in the ditch. All are nice and not skittish! Friendly and using litter boxes!

They have been to the vet and received deworming and an antibiotic injection. All of them are absolute love bugs. Mom is still very playful. She is especially attached to the tuxedo kittens (who the vet says are about 4 mos old). The vet thinks she 'adopted' the black kittens, who are about 8 weeks. She doesn't seems to have signs of having birthed them.

Just look at this face!!! Who wants to help him find his forever home!
This guy is around three years old and assumed to need all vetting. He was a little shy when he first came in to shelter, but opened up right away and was quickly at his kennel door wanting pets and cuddles!!! He is estimated to be around 3 years old.

This gal is Molly and she’s looking for a foster home! She is a 1.5 year old spayed female who needs to be the only pet as she doesn't play well with other animals.
She does get along great though with all ages of humans and is litter box trained. She is described as very sweet and cuddly.

Meet Oscar! He need a foster home.

Oscar is a sweet, 9-year-old neutered jack russel mix who's looking for a foster. He's a loyal companion who loves dogs and enjoys a calm, peaceful environment. Unfortunately, due to his owner's upcoming move Oscar is being returned after 5yrs.

A Few Things to Know About Oscar:

• Personality: Oscar is a gentle and affectionate dog who loves belly rubs and cuddles. He's very calm and relaxed when he's comfortable, but he can be fearful of loud noises and unfamiliar situations.

• Training: Oscar hasn't had any formal training, but he's good in the car and enjoys walks in the backyard. Oscar is potty trained but does not use a kennel due to being trusted out when the owners are gone. I would imagine he would be okay in a kennel and it could be a safe space for him.

• Behavior: Oscar can be hesitant about being handled or collared, and he may show his teeth if he feels threatened. However, he's never bitten anyone and is generally very gentle.

• Health: Oscar is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations and is currently taking Trazadone to help with anxiety.

Ideal Foster Home:

Oscar would do best in a home with no young children. A quiet, stable environment would be ideal for him to feel safe and secure. A family who is patient and understanding of his needs would be the perfect match. Ideally you have some shy/fearful dog experience because Oscar will be a flight risk until he is comfortable.

New foster needed!

Lemon is looking for a permeant place to land. She came into the rescue with a temporary foster home, but needs a permanent one.

She is the sweetest little girl. She is so goofy and loves to play. She has been working on staying down when she gets excited with her temp foster. She’s a napper and will chose a nice spot to lay down most of the day. She has been doing well with the resident animals but needs slow introductions. She is still learning to trust people but has come a long way.

She is only 40 pounds and is up to date and ready for adoption. She has been doing really well on a schedule for potty training and as long as you have some consistency she will be just fine. She does well in her kennel after she settles in but she just gets a little sad right when you put her in and will whine a little.

Foster needed for return pup!

Brooke came up from Texas as a 3-4 month old puppy who is now almost a year old. She’s being returned due to her being mouthy with the children in the home. With consistent training and redirection, this is able to be managed. She is crate trained, potty trained and said to get along with other animals but slow intros will be a must and we are recommending no young children due to the mouthiness.

These two cuties, guessing maybe 10 weeks old, are in need of a foster to help socialize them and lead them on their way to forever homes. They were born to a stray semi-feral cat and are being kept in a cage in the caretaker's barn. They are said to be scared, but friendly, and can be held. Have only been around women and other cats. Sexes unknown.

Harper is being returned due to no fault of his.

Harper is a 7 month old Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix, and so cute! He is about 10 lbs. He is potty trained, kennel trained, and great on a leash. Good with people and dogs, cats are unknown. Fully vetted!

He is a goofy guy and likes to bark at his own reflection sometimes 😂
