Important NOT to reinforce the “free” cue with a treat because the reward for being released is the release itself to sniff freely.

Taco is getting older and has a hard time walking long distances but has always gone most places with me. It’s heartbreaking to take Groot and leave Taco behind. Today, I started training and desensitizing Taco to riding in a wagon and what his job entails. We worked on loading into wagon, how to settle and sit in the wagon, what stopping feels like, what riding feels like and how to exit the wagon.
