Vaccine clinic on the East Bay. See OP for details!

We will be working in concert with the wonderful folks at the Rhode Island Veterinary Medical Association to host a low cost Rabies clinic this month!
The clinic will be located at the East Providence Senior Center, in the Breed Hall building, and will run from 10 am to Noon. Vaccines will cost $10.00 cash, and all cats must be in carriers, and dogs must be leashed. If you bring proof of a current rabies vaccination for your pet, the new vaccination will be valid for 3 years instead of usueal 1 year!

If you have a pet that is not good around other animals please give us a call at 401-255-8326 and we will coordinate entry through another entrance.

We didn’t have many of y’all today at the event from Farm Fresh Rhode Island. We donated the rest of our supplies from today to the homeless site of one of our partners (Help The Homeless RI) for distribution at their meal this weekend. We are finding out our summer events date over the next few weeks and then they will be posted to our website. We look forward to seeing y’all soon! ❤️

We look forward to seeing you all on Saturday 4/5 at Farm Fresh Rhode Island from 9am-1pm (as supplies permit!). As a reminder, our current pickup process has been suspended indefinitely until we have volunteers come aboard to help with all steps involved with the pickup process as it is far too much for our Founder to handle on their own. For those wondering what the steps are that assistance is needed in: application review, application reach out, supply preparation, pantry organization, appointment meetups, to name a few. For the foreseeable future, until more volunteers come aboard for the brunt of the pantry activities, assistance will be provided only by monthly/semi monthly events/pop ups that happen. Pop ups happen randomly and with very little notice in advance.

We want to THANK Rumford Pet Express for their generous donation of much needed pet food yesterday as we were fully out at our Warren extension at St. Mary of the Bay Food Pantry and about to be out at our main location! It’s THANKS to generous donors like you that we are able to keep our mission of helping pet parents keep their pet(s) in the home with them and out of shelters!

We are posting on a sad note. Unfortunately, we no longer have a table for our mobile events as many of you saw today, our table designated for the events specifically, was stolen from our basement storage at our old property by the upstairs tenant. We formally requested multiple times to them (the upstairs tenants)/the former landlord for the property to be returned; however, it has not so we are again requesting if anybody has a foldable table 6ft minimum (8ft preferable) that they could donate to us or if any of our followers could buy one for us and send it to us we’d be ever so grateful.

We are officially moved into our new space in Woonsocket! We are still organizing everything and need to get our pantry box from the old pickup location in Warwick. If anybody can help us with this as the property owner who had been caring for it for us has sadly passed away and the property is being sold we’d appreciate this greatly. As a reminder our next mobile event for food distribution is this Saturday 2/8 from 9am-1pm (while supplies last!) at Farm Fresh Rhode Island! We are out of dry cat food/wet dog food, we only have wet cat food/dry dog food so these will be at the event with us!

As a FINAL reminder, we have our Request Forms closed due to volume capacity. All who are in need of food need to come to our mobile events for the foreseeable future. We do NOT take requests any other way than at the mobile events/Request Forms. Voicemails/texts/messages sent to us requesting food are not being returned as this has always been one of our most publicly known/publicized rules and is on our website/page.

Effective immediately due to non stop harassment via call/text message from certain individuals- we will now no longer be answering calls/texts outside of our appointment hours/mobile event days. If you find yourself blocked you will know why as we are now blocking all numbers who cannot respect a business line.

If the harassment does not cease we will be disconnecting our number fully and not getting another one to replace it.

We are all setup at Farm Fresh Armory Park Farmers Market! Come down we will be here while supplies last from now until 7pm! We have dry dog food, wet cat food and a small amount of dry cat food. As a reminder we need dry cat food and wet dog food at our pantry!
