We have this little guy ready to go. He has his tail still as requested by someone who was suppose to get him but circumstances changed so he is on the lookout for his forever. He is a toy Australian shepherd and he will leave without papers .

I’ve been dreading this post. We laid our sweet boy RyRy to rest. He was let out and for the first time ever he got on the road and was hit by a car. We let our guard down for one second and that’s all it took. As you all know RyRy was an amazing dog and best friend. He wasn’t just a dog he was family. He has sired many of your puppies who you call a best friend now. I’m happy to know his blood line lives on through your pups. The last litter he sired we plan to keep a couple. Thank you to Pryor vet hospital who made us the pretttiest memorial of him.

Everyone meet Miss Paisley . She was a patients of mine and they could no longer care for her and asked me to take her in so me and my little ones can love her . She’s said to be 6 years old. She’s a sweet little gal. She was going to be taken to the pound because they could no longer care for her nor had family around and obviously we can’t let that happen. She was taken very good care of and so happy we get to be with her the remainder of her life.

Miss Jezzabelle has retired with us to her forever home with Sandy!! She gave us two beautiful litters and gave you your best friend!!! As most breeders breed over and over and over again we only breed twice and retire them to great families. Congrats Sandy.

Starting on Friday, January 12, NE Oklahoma & SE Kansas are going to be experiencing some extremely low temperatures, especially at night.

Of course, the best thing to do for your domestic pets is to bring them in the house.

If for some reason you can’t figure out a way to do that, please be looking for straw now, so that you can pack their houses, with enough material, so that they can burrow deeply enough to keep their body heat maintained.

This picture of this doghouse shows the amount of straw that is needed.

And it needs to be straw, not hay, or blankets.

Also, their water supply needs to be checked, at least a couple of times a day, because it’s going to rapidly freeze over.

Please also remember our feathered friends, and other wildlife.

I feel the need to make this post…. If you or your family decide that the puppy you have gotten from us is too much or your having financial issues , whatever the case may be please do not send them to a pound/ shelter. We will always take them back until they can find a better situation. We understand things happen but they shouldn’t have to get the consequences from it. Also Christmas is approaching whether you are getting a puppy from us or someone else always remember that they are a lifetime commitment not a temporary exciting gift for the moment.
Before getting a puppy you need to ask yourself are you financially able to feed another mouth? Pay medical bills? Monthly flea and tick medicine? Shots? Boosters? Unexpected emergency vet trips? Special food? Do you have the time?
All very very important things. Think before acting.

Is everyone prepared for winter?! If you have outdoor pets make sure they have somewhere they can stay warm , inside pets put sweaters or coats on. Avoid heat lamps as they can catch fire. Avoid hay and use straw instead, avoid blankets because if they get wet they stay cold! Get an extra bag of dog food incase you are snowed in. Change water or make sure you check it periodically to keep it from freezing and they also have heated water bowls. Or if you have a stubborn dog like mine and won’t use a dog house bring them inside or barn ect. I hope everyone and there fur babies are enjoying the holidays.
