Some of you will remember a few weeks ago when Nancy P. Watson and I were trapping kittens and I grabbed that really nice Mama kitty. A young man came up to me and asked if I wanted another cat. Jokingly I said NO.. I dont need another cat. Why?? He told me about a very sweet cat whos owner had died and when the family cleaned out the house the cat was put out as well. He was very concerned and had been going over and feeding her what he could and checking on her but asked me if I could PLEASE take her. Of course I told him Id work something out. I gave him a few cans of cat food and my number. Well FINALLY I had time at the same time he did and we were able to coordinate. So right before Im ready with a crate to head to town to grab kitty, he texts me and tells me there is now ANOTHER mama kitty and 2 kittens. OK... So I load another crate, a trap, and head out. I get there, I pick up mama 1, (who is now named Marshmellow according to Eden). He grabs mama 2, and the babies bolt. So I set the trap and within 10 minutes we have baby 1. The guy he was with said he had a trap at his place and was willing to go get it and try to catch the other baby, while I ran the 3 home and settled in. Im JUST ready to text him when he texts me and says hes got baby 2. So I run to town and get that one. When I get there, what do I see but a male cat, AND ANOTHER female calico cat. ALL THESE CATS ARE FRIENDLY BY THE WAY.. He asked me if I was gonna take them too and I said, UH no. I cant, I have literally NOWHERE for them, BUT as soon as I can find a rescue or foster or SOMETHING for these 4, I will be back and AT LEAST get them fixed. Now mind you, I STILL have the mama and 1 surviving baby from when Nancy and I were trapping a few weeks ago.
Fast forward to last night, Nancy texts me and says someone saw a little black kitten in town at a store and asks could I go check when I go thru. I pull up to the store and what do I see but a TEENY TINY little black kitten. I walk over, certain its gonna bolt, but NOPE. It sits there and lets me pick it up. So off we go. Kitten in crate.. kitten is screaming until I get it out of the crate and put it in my lap. And there it was.. happy. This one is little, still has blue eyes but clearly doesnt like to be alone so I get home and let mama 2 (the one with the 2 babies) sniff the baby. She immediately starts washing it like its her own baby. Im happy, baby is happy and mama is being an awesome mama. SO..... I PLEASE NEED HELP!! I would NEVER turn away ANY animal in need, but Saving Snoots Animal Rescue is mainly a dog rescue. While I do have cats of my own, cats arent really my area of expertise. I know that sounds dumb but after loosing 6 of the 7 kittens from the last rescue, Im a little gun shy. I really dont want anything to happen to these.
SO PLEASE... If you are a rescue that has space, I have SEVERAL cats and kittens that need rescue.
CALLIE, No idea how old, beautiful white, grey and calico. She has been wormed.
TINA..1 baby female dark calico, that I believe is Callies baby, also wormed.
Marshmellow, Female, mostly white with a little orange calico type markings. (Believed to be older possible senior)
1 Female, white calico tiger with gold eyes..
2 babies.. 1 white and orange and 1 almost twin to mama, white calico tiger.
1 tiny black maybe 6 weeks old, still has blue eyes.
ALL ARE SWEET AND CAN BE HANDLED. THE 2 KITTENS WITH MAMA ARE A LITTLE SHY BUT NOT AT ALL HISSY AND WARM UP QUICK.
ALL THE OTHERS WILL COME TO YOU TO BE PETTED AND ARE VERY NICE CATS.
PLEASE MESSAGE ME IF YOU HAVE SPACE. ID LOVE TO GO GET THE MALE, BEFORE HE SPREADS HIS SEED MORE, AND THE REMAINING CALICO BUT I CANNOT DO THAT UNTIL I MOVE THESE.
PS SAVING SNOOTS IS BROKE RIGHT NOW AND WITH ALL THAT WENT ON WITH OUR LITTLE BONES, I CANNOT AFFORD TO GET THEM SHOTS AND TESTS AND ALTER, SO IF ANYONE WANTS TO HELP WITH THAT I CAN GET IT DONE.
PLEASE SHARE..
THANK YOU
