May your turkey be moist and your potatoes be stiff. May your family be friendly and your friends be like family. May your feast day be joyful and everything that you hope it will be. May the world find peace and stop killing each other. May those of us who are safe remember that not everyone is. May those of us with an abundance of food remember those who have little or none. May we be grateful for what we have but remember that it is ok to be mad about what we don’t have or about others not as well off. May we remember that just because our lives could be worse it doesn’t mean that they also could be better. May we remember that  gratitude doesn’t equate with satisfied.
