Happy Birthday to our Nala, she’s officially 2 today. She goes in next month for her OFA’s. Then if we find a stud we like, we might breed her on her next heat if the timing works out.

Happy Thanksgiving! Ruby surprised us with having puppies this morning. So far 1 brown girl, 1 brown boy, 4 yellow boys, 2 yellow girls.

11/17/2022

Peppers Puppies have arrived. We have not checked to see how many boys and girls we have. What we can say is we have two chocolate and the rest blacks. This one was a rough one on Pepper, and will be her last litter. 36 hours of labor from the time the first puppy came to the last puppy and a trip to the emergency vet, we almost had a c-section. The vet put her IV in and they were prepping her for surgery when Pepper surprised everyone and delivered the stuck puppy. She had two more at the vet before they desided she could go home and finish. It was still a hard process for her. She’s extremely exhausted and we are letting her rest and not disturbing her unless necessary.

I can’t believe we are 2 weeks till Peppers puppies, and 3 weeks till Rubys puppies are due! There’s going to be lots of puppies pic’s coming. Who’s excited!! We are taking deposits now on all three colors. Ruby has potential of throwing a red!
