Ladies’ Night at the Barn
FRIDAY JANUARY 10th and 24th 5:30-7:30
$85 Per Session
Available for anyone ages 18 and Older, beginner on up who wants to spend time with horses. Ms Margo teaches Ladies’ Night and in addition to equestrian education, she is a yoga instructor and therapist. She helps everyone have a safe, educational, peaceful and uplifting time with the horses. Look for registration link below all class descriptions.

Class: Nature and Instincts of Horses
Learn about horses and take into account what kind of animal they are and what their instincts are. Learn from equestrian professionals about how to use this knowledge to build a relationship with them, and how to set yourself up for safety with the horses. Learn safety rules, the whys and hows.

Build your knowledge about what a horse is communicating by observing their body language and listening to a knowledgeable equestrian explain what everything means. Then, learn how to communicate in those ways with your own body and energy. You will be helped and supported as you discover your power to communicate with the horses!

Lessons are $75 each but on our monthly memberships, you pay less per lesson! $140/m for every other week ($70 each/2 lessons a month) or $260/m for once a week ($65 each/4 lessons a month). Hi all, this is Leslie! I wanted to share this video of a student that has been coming to a once a month groundwork clinic for about a year now, in addition to her two times a month riding lessons. This video is from November’s clinic. I have been beaming about this moment ever since. It might look simple, but the way she is calm-confident, and her skills to maneuver Charlie back forward on the circle when he tries to stop and turn is amazing. The fact that she makes it look easy is exactly the point. It wasn’t so easy but she’s put in the consistent practice and now handles those moments with ease and skill!

Groundwork clinics are my absolute favorite extended class for students to attend because I feel like it’s the best way to create well-rounded equestrians.

What are they like? These extended classes have opportunities to learn about horses and yourself! Both on and off their backs. Each class is hands-on with horses and guided by a knowledgeable and talented instructor.

Here is an example of what you could experience at Ladies' Night at the Barn!

“Groundwork” with horses. Leading, tying, moving, stopping, longing, backing up and other important ground-manner exercises. Working on your own body language while handling horses.

Horse care knowledge: what horses need on a consistent basis, first aid knowledge, maintenance.

Safety around horses training. Learn about environments, weather, etc and how to set you and the horse up for safety success each day.

Deep understanding of horses: how to read their energy, body language and cues. Continuing education on how horses think and how to communicate with them.

Self-improvement: be around coaching and encouragement that will help you work with anxieties, fears, self-perception, physical limitation, and build self-awareness. All of this will help you create the connection of your dreams with the horses.

At Ladies' Nights, we take more time to learn skills in more detail and having more time to master each skill.
