✨ New Year, New Life Initiative! (link to donate posted below) ✨
As you may have seen earlier, we just received the news that we are being awarded a $50,000 matching grant from the Foxwynd Foundation Donor Advised Funds! This unique grant enables us to DOUBLE the projected impact through it's matching opportunity. Now we need your assistance! In order for us to unlock the full potential of this grant, we need to raise $50,000 to be matched. We know this is monumental, but last year the Foxwynd Foundation DAF presented us with a $35,000 matching grant and we raised those funds in a matter of days to create a $70,000 medical support fund for animals urgently needing support. That grant supported 57 critical animals and dozens more with the equipment that was purchased to support our operations.
We are reaching out to our donors and beyond to help raise funds for the critical animals that need our assistance in 2026. This grant is multifaceted and provides funding for five MAJOR pillars for our organization, including Emergency Medical Care, Equipment, Feed & Grain, Vaccines & Medicals, and Routine Spay/Neuter Surgeries.
$10,000 DOUBLED TO $20,000 for Emergency Medical Care: These funds support urgent hospitalization, surgery, and critical treatments for animals arriving from owners or shelter partners, like ACCT Philly. Many of these animals require immediate intervention, dedicated funding ensures treatment without delay.
$15,600 DOUBLED TO $31,200 for Equipment Purchase: This allocation will replace our aging John Deere Gator, a vital piece of equipment used daily to transport hay, grain, and supplies while also supporting daily cleaning and farm maintenance. With 50–70 equines and farm animals, reliable equipment is essential. Our current Gator breaks down frequently, slowing operations and increasing the physical strain on staff and volunteers. A new Gator will significantly improve efficiency, safety, and productivity. If we receive the full matching funds, we will evaluate what other equipment our facility needs to replace to assist more animals in need.
$15,000 DOUBLED TO $30,000 for Hay and Grain: As we enter the winter months, maintaining a full supply of hay and grain becomes increasingly important. Hay is the primary source of nutrition for equine and barnyard animals, providing warmth through digestion. This funding ensures our feed rooms remain fully stocked so we can provide continuous, high-quality nutrition.
$4,400 DOUBLED TO $8,800 for Vaccines and Medications: Every animal entering our care receives core vaccines and any necessary medications for illness. Most require 2–4 vaccines at intake, making this support crucial for protecting health and preventing the spread of disease.
$5,000 DOUBLED TO $10,000 Spay and Neuter Surgeries: Nearly 80% of the cats and dogs we take in need spay or neuter procedures prior to adoption. This funding improves their long-term health.
