Jester today ! He’s turning out to be so cool ! He is easier to catch and saddle. Plus he is not taking off anymore on the ground. Hes getting more brave!

Jester was so good this week! We went on a trail ride around the neighborhood for the first time !

Sadie is such a good girl and she listens most of the time ;) she just struggles with being lazy. So we practice with little jumps to get her to pick up her feet and help with coordination!

Hennessey is doing a lot better slowing down when it comes across rivets in the ground! He is actually placing his feet instead of speeding up we are getting progress!! We are still working on being patient when asked to stop on the trail but we are improving:)

Last day with Dawson! I feel like she has come a long way with her patience! And her willingness to listen. She is a super smart mare she will be looking for someone to lease her out!! Post coming!!

Dawson just had a easy night tonight! She’s been really good. I took her on a trail ride yesterday, but today we did some ba****ck work! (Pls laugh an me sliding on her neck😭💀)

Had some fun with jester today! We did a lot of desensitizing! Which is my favorite. He is very flighty and loves to run away so he learned today that he can’t run away from the things that scare him and to faces fears.

This is whiskey! He just needs a little tune up and to be more confident on the trails. Today we worked on going down ditches slow and using our body around bushes! This is a great exercise for colts!!

Today I did a lot of slow work with the Hennessey! This included, jumping around him like a child! He was actually very relaxed at the end of the session! Sometimes you have to just think like a kid ! Your horses will thank you later 💗

Bo went on a trail ride and found out cactus is not for sniffing! It was a beautiful day out today!

Rode jester today! We worked on standing when I throw the saddle up on him it took him a few tries but he got it! He was great to ride!

Today we worked with some scary bags! They turned out to not be that scary! Also we worked on picking up the hind feet !

Bonita all by herself today! She did really good going through the tunnels all by herself! She goes home soon so sad to see her go!

Oh Hennessy!! Today we worked on walking forward stoping and turning over the hocks! He gets super frustrated going from a stand still to a walk, but we are working on it! Being off the track he really gets in his head! But we are working on it every session!

Also, did some work with Bonita tonight! We tried to stick to trotting then drop to the walk! Bonita moves really forward really fast so we’re trying to help her understand she doesn’t need to run away and also to be soft while doing so. As I have mentioned before, she is really dull/hard mouthed, so we tried the Springsteen bit on her at worked wonders!

Some work with Dawson tonight! We worked on drop to the drop lead changes! She is pretty lazy sometimes when she doesn’t want to do the work,however she is so athletic!!

We worked on on the lay down today! She did really well I think she will pick it up in no time!

Bonita tends to be super dull under saddle when I ask her to do anything. So today I broke it down on the ground and did some over the hocks over the forehand movements!
