Queen Creek Feastival February 28.

We were back for the last Friday of the month celebration.

Yes, one lucky pup went home with the promise of another soon.
The kiddos were just pouring on the love. Thank you parents for instilling the idea of kindness to animals.

We will be back in two weeks at the new Feastival location.

To add more happiness to our weekend, we received another update on Bubba.

“I think they are getting along well here and Bubba has settled in quite well.

He is following me around everywhere I go and sleeps curled up right basically on my shoulder every night.

I tried walking the two and it kept getting tangled haha had to get that one leash. “

Lettie, adopted Sunday already sent pics of herself and her new siblings.

“Today’s update! Lettie met the kids yesterday and they all fell in love. Our daughter fell asleep with her and we all just had a giant bed out of the couches in the living room for a family sleep pile. She’s been up exploring all parts of the house today and is finally enjoying some food. She goes right to the back door when she needs to go out. She’s just perfect. She and the cats are getting along great too!”

🐾🐕 QUEEN CREEK FOOD FEASTIVAL FEB 21 🐾

Two dogs found their forever homes. We are so excited and grateful for all the love poured on the dogs. Generous donations and offer of volunteers were received. We love this bimonthly venue.

Ryker is still available for adoption! We are planning on taking him to the Queen Creek Food Truck Festival this Friday if he isn't adopted before then. If you would like to meet him please e-mail us at [email protected].

Ryker was a stray we got out of animal control a little while ago. He is an awesome dog that would be fantastic in any home. He gets along great with other dogs and children. He has been to a couple of adoption events and was really great with everybody there. He is not very big, less then 20 pounds. He will be an awesome member to any family and if you would like to meet him please e-mail [email protected] to set up an appointment to meet him.

My name's Dino, and I'm on the hunt for my forever home. Let me share a bit about my pawsome self!

• I'm a charming small black dog, and boy, do I have a heart full of love to give.
• My past is a bit of a mystery—I was turned into animal control as a stray and my previous humans never came to claim me. But that just means I'm extra excited to meet my new family!
❤️ Why You'll Love Me:
• I adore cuddles! I don’t mind being held at all, so prepare for some snuggle sessions.
• I get along famously with other dogs and enjoy playing with them. Sometimes, I even get the zoomies—catch me if you can!
• Leash walking? Nailed it! Though my house training status is unknown, I'm ready to learn and impress.

• Weight: About 12 pounds (and gaining a bit, since I was a tad skinny when I arrived).

Timothy is a sweet friendly husky mix we took in from Yuma a couple of weeks ago. We don't have any background information other than he was turned as a stray and nobody ever came to claim her. He has settled in and is doing awesome with his best buddy Dorthy. He is ready for adoption, He is neutered, current on vaccinations and has been microchipped. He seems to do well with other dogs, but we don't know about cats or small children. He has been going for daily walks with our trainer and the other volunteers, and he is awesome with them and will make an excellent companion. We made it back and took a walk and short run around the neighborhood, Lily made both Blu and I tired. Everything seems the same as there, no issues she is just exploring her new place. Thanks again I'm very excited to have her.

BUBBA found true love at the Alpha Dog Shooting For Love event in Tempe yesterday. He now shares a forever home with Reagan, a one year old German Shepherd mix, and his new dad. Already received a positive update. Pictures tell the story.

What could be better than adopting a lifelong friend? We only have two puppies left but 40 adoptable adult dogs are here waiting for that special someone. Email mike@caaronline for an appointment.

Saturday event at Apha Dog Fi****ms in Tempe was a great day for the pups. We joined other rescues for a fun day. CAAR received generous donations.
One of the puppies and Bubba found homes.

Thank you to Veronica, our trainer, the Sun Lakes volunteers and to Alpha Dog Fi****ms for this yearly opportunity.

Our next event is Friday February 21 at the Food Feastival at the Queen Creek library grounds.

Paper is such a cool and unique boy. Today he got his wiggles out by using the treadmill. Paper was born to run. He is the perfect hiking buddy, or running partner.
