Well we’ve made the big move to AZ! Gosh is it beautiful here ❤️ and you can’t beat the evenings right now. Finally starting to get settled in. We’re headed into a bit of a heat snap for the next ten days, so anxious for some “cooler” weather to get back to training full time!

Huge thank you to Iron Tech Services for getting our trailer a bit more Arizona friendly! They did an amazing job 😍
And they built us an amazing custom fuel tank for the truck.

Well it’s official! SMS Performance Horses is moving to Arizona! We loved our short visit there while we got our affairs in order and found a great place to relocate to. We will miss all our boarders and clients dearly, but are looking forward to this new adventure ❤️

Second jackpot ever for this girl (first one was in March)! We just need to work on our timing together a bit more, but she’s pretty dang cool! Some highschool rodeo kid would just loooove her 😍

It’s not everyday you have someone fly in to try a horse! Having an airstrip has more perks then just being a breezing strip I guess 😝

She’s definitely a more whoa then go mare, especially on a hot day, but I feel that energy will change as she gets a job and more confidence.

2021 palomino AQHA mare. Currently stands 15hh and growing.

This young lady is as smart as she is stunning. She has an easygoing attitude and doesn’t get much more than a pleasure trot unless she’s got something to work for. She’s had just about 3 months on her right now (*first 60 days not with us*). Has been hauled out a lot. Stands patiently at the rail or the trailer. She’s been exposed to a lot in a short time and takes it all in very easy. She’s tracked the heelomatic. Been exposed to cattle and shows to have a really interest for that too! So whether it’s barrels or breakaway or just a nice trail ride, this little mare is not going to disappoint!
It is not without big hesitation that she is being offered for sale, if it wasn’t for a big move this decision would not have been made.
She is utd on vaccines, teeth, feet and worming.

Mistress was started as a cutter but ended up in the sorting/penning world and been quite successful. Last year was the first year we showed her and we really didn’t end up making it to very many shows, but she was reserve champion in the #14 class at Calgary Stampede and reserve champion in the #7 class at nationals.
This mare is a cow eating machine with a big motor. She’s smooth and snappy. Ride her now, and breed her later!

Huge thank you to Doors Service by Moonlight in Innisfail for quickly coming to our rescue when our overhead door (by a different company) broke and fell on Monday evening! They were out with an assessment yesterday afternoon and here this morning with a new and better door! Highly recommended them if you need anything in the area fixed or replaced 🥰

I have some exciting news - Rockin' A Mohair now has a website!

This has been a long time coming, and I finally had the time between Christmas and New Years to officially set it up. I've been putting the finishing touches on it for the last few days and it is officially ready to launch!

I have transitioned all of my invoicing over to Square, to keep things all in one place. This way, you can pay with credit or debit, and even make payment plans.

I will still be taking custom orders through messenger, though you can custom order on the site as well.

First ride after having teeth done! Still a little fussy but night and day to what she was, so I think she’s just anticipating what was. But she’s sure a nice moving mare 😍 I definitely think she needs to be someone’s performance partner. She has LOTS of years left in her and wants to work!

Futurity people!!! She’s gonna be ready to “crack out” in November! I started her on the pattern right barrel first and she’s good that way too but decided for my sake to switch things up. So this was our first time going through left first 😍 I’m definitely not disappointed.
