What does the “Let’s Go” command look like?
1. Let’s go while using commands while on a loose leash walk
2. Let’s Go while letting your dog roll around and be goofy
3. Let’s Go while on a walk, not in a heel

Let’s Go is our informal move in my direction command. It means keep moving with me. This can be used for walks, hikes, moving around in the back yard, or anyway you need it!

With the holidays fast approaching, keep in mind that having tons of new people in your home can be stressful for your dog! Training ahead of time can greatly improve the happiness of your dog and you!

What does our training day look like?
5 AM First morning potty for all dogs than feed breakfast

5:30AM I get myself ready to start the day

6AM Morning walks for everyone. Most dogs go in groups of two. Unless they just started the program and need more one on one work. After walks, we get into our individual sessions. This can look so different for each dog. It could be follow work, recall, down stays, place work and everything in between!

11 AM-Noon Lunch time, the dogs need rest just like us. They all get an hour break to nap or rest before our afternoon sessions

Noon-6PM This time is biased off how the dogs did in the morning. If they did really well on learning and remembering skills we add in store outings or trail hikes increasing the challenges. If they struggled with a certain concept we jump right back into that concept, building that skill. Again each dog is very individual based. In this time we also do group place time, building this calm muscle is SO important! Ending with dinner for everyone.

9PM Last potty break for the night. Usually the dogs are so tired from the busy day, I have to wake them up to go potty. 😊

Tres Update!
This pretty lady went through the training program back 2021! She joins us for boarding when her dad goes on vacation! She has been doing fantastic on walks, playing off leash fetch and meeting lots of new doggy friends! She’s a crowd favorite for boarding as her skills and obedience have been kept up since her training days! 🐾

Glimpse into our morning routine with a group of dogs! We start every morning at 5 AM for let outs, everyone gets fed, I get ready and then start our morning walks or active sessions! When any dog comes back for boarding they are provided with a calm stress free environment, which allows us to get lots of walk, off leash hikes, and enrichment time in! We love providing our clients with a safe a d fun place to board their pups 🐶

Toby update!!!

This guy went through the training program a couple Monday ago! Included in the program is one free session at your house once the program is over! Toby’s owners called me up and asked for a place command refresher! Yesterday we traveled to his house, gave his wonderful owners a couple tips and he was right back to following all the house rules! SO proud of his family for all the hard work they have done!
