What a show! Our group had a great time at the Pinnacle Circuit & AQHA L1 Championships West. A huge thank you to the judges, show staff, AZQHA, and all who made this gigantic show run so smoothly!

Congratulations to Linsey & All Good In The Hood on a great Sun Circuit! This team had personal best scores and placings in the showmanship, and were on the cards all three go arounds of the horsemanship, their very first time showing that class!!! 🥳

Congrats Trinity & Lloyd! Top five & top three placings in both goes of the L1 youth horsemanship, catch riding her sisters horse! Todays run they scored an 88.5, 88, 86 & 80 🥳

Mallie & Bentley, 1st overall out of 19 in the L1 youth Hunter Under Saddle! They were also 3rd overall out of 17 in the youth Hunter Under Saddle. 🥳🥳

Just gotta brag on this girl a bit! What a fantastic day she had in the horsemanship yesterday - 3rd overall out of 39 in the non-pro green horsemanship, and 2nd overall out of 51 in the L2 youth horsemanship scoring high 80’s on all cards here at Sun Circuit! They also made it into the youth ‘top 8’ for the horsemanship national championship! There is nothing more gratifying than seeing this team start to lay down consistent, fancy and clean runs. They spent majority of last year learning new events, and with that came lots of ups and downs. Sheridan stuck it out and was incredibly determined and patient as Stanley did his best to learn his new job. VERY excited to see what they accomplish this season!

That’s a wrap on the Silver Dollar Circuit! This show was a great way to start off the 2024 show season. The hospitality was wonderful, the show staff were accommodating and organized, the judges were top notch and we were finished showing before 6pm every single day! Now on to Arizona Sun Circuit ☀️

Some highlights…

☮️Jenn & Best Believe That
1-1-1-2-2-3 and circuit champions in the L1 amateur pleasure with two personal best runs! They also tried their hand in the trail, and landed top five placings!

🔥Lisa & LastPeaceOfPotential
Called back for railwork out of 34 in the L1 select horsemanship, their debut run as a team and Lisa’s first horsemanship run in 40 years!

⚜️Mallie & Pippin In My Bentley
Class winner and circuit champion L1 youth HUS, class winner and circuit champion youth HUS! Breakthrough show for this team!

🎀Taunya & You Talkin About Me
Reserve champions 3&4yo non pro western pleasure futurity!

🌶️Trinity & Makin Slow Moves
There weren’t any other L2 13&under exhibitors, so Trinity got to show right alongside the big girls! Despite this, she held her own and was reserve circuit champion in the all ages L3 youth equitation! They consistently marked in the 80’s in both their eq and hms runs!

🫧Linsey & All Good In The Hood
Called back to railwork out of 27 in the L1 amateur horsemanship, their debut run as a team and Linsey’s first run in 10 years! They were also 3rd overall in the L1 amateur showmanship with a personal best run.

💫Sheridan & Show N My Machine
Personal best horsemanship run, placing 1-2-2-3-4-4 and scoring 87’s in the L3 youth out of 12! Also beautiful runs in the trail, western riding, and equitation!
(And a pretty dang good showmanship debut!)

🌷Ruby & W***y B Lazy
Fantastic runs in the L3 youth showmanship, equitation, trail, halter, pleasure, HUS, and horsemanship! Placing in the top five in all of these events and marking high 80’s on several cards. They were also the all ages youth reserve all around champions!

Class wins in the amateur HUS, and some great schooling accomplished!

Whew, what a Congress! We brought 9 horses to show and left with a Congress Champion, a Reserve Congress Champion, and 50 medals. We’re so grateful to everyone that plays a part in making this all possible- from our help at home (Clare Delaney & Devon Thorp), our farrier John Elrod and vets Olympia Equine Veterinary Services PLLC, show help, stall cleaners, and ofcourse our clients who trust us to train both them and their horses. Couldn’t think of a better way to close out our show season!

Congratulations Ruby Gunderson & W***y B Lazy! Finalists in the NYATT showmanship with fantatsic runs in both the prelims and finals. This was a stout group with competitors from all levels, and they made it back to the second go out of 2 splits and 72 runs. 🎉🎉🎉

This girl has been working her butt off showing, schooling, and preparing two different horses this past week! She has made it back to the finals in every class she’s walked into, kept a great attitude despite the significant lack of sleep, and has been a joy to coach in every way. Here’s to keeping up this momentum into week two!
