We are thrilled to say that all 8 of our little Mariachis headed off to their new homes over the weekends. We wish them and their new families the best puppy lives full of kisses, snuggles, and happiness!

Once Mama Margarita has some time to settled in without being a mom, we'll begin looking for the perfect family for her!

It was a busy weekend for the Margarita and her Mariachi Babies. The pups are officially 7 weeks old now (how did that happen!). They had lots of socialization with meet and greets and adoption events and as of today, all 8 babies have adoptions pending and families eagerly waiting to bring them home next weekend! Mama Margarita is still "on the market", but we're going to give her a little bit of downtime once her pups leave to allow her to adjust and for us to really get a feel for what she will need for her forever home. Once we feel like she is ready and we know what she's like on her own, we'll focus on finding Margarita her perfect family. But for now, we're soaking in as much Mariachi cuteness as we can before they head off for their forever homes! We've loved watching these little ones grow!

We spend a lot of time marveling at the cuteness of the little ones, but we can't forget Mama Margarita! Now that the pups are on the hunt for their forever homes, it's time to put Margarita in the spotlight as well and find her perfect people as well.

The weather is warming up, so it's time to treat yourself to a little Margarita! Normally, we go for the jumbo size, but this pint-sized Margarita is just right! Margarita came to us in the family way and now that she's done being an awesome mom to her pups, it's time for her to be front and center and find her perfect home. Margarita is still young (we think around 2) and very petite (15-18 pounds after getting her post-puppy figure back). This little beauty loves to do zoomies in the yard or down the hallway and she loves a good back scratch. She's still learning what toys are "for", but she does love carrying them around to show them off to her favorite people. Margarita can be a bit timid meeting new people, but she warms up quickly and is ready to receive all the pets and scratches. She'd do best in a home with no cats or large dogs and with older children since she's a bit on the timid side and little ones might be a bit much for her. She would LOVE a yard to zoom and roll around in. This adorable girl has so much love to give some very lucky people. Put in your order for this very special Margarita today!

Mariachi babies are 6 weeks old! This photo shoot is amazing and we can't decide which pup nailed it the most. They're all too cute for words!

Margarita's little Mariachis are 5 weeks old now, so it's ALMOST time to start finding their perfect forever homes. The puppies' amazing foster mom will be reaching out (within the next few days) to those who have already submitted applications. If you haven't applied yet but are interested in being considered to adopt one of these babies, be sure to go to the Freedom Ride website (www.freedom-ride.org) to fill out an application as soon as possible. The pups can't go to their forever homes until they are 8 weeks old, but it will take a couple of weeks to find each pups' perfect people and get applications processed by then. For those interested in seeing these cuties in person, the Mariachis will have their big public debut at the Earth Day Event!

The Mariachi babies have been making friends with Uncle Milton and Uncle Bader (the "big dogs" in their foster home). Milton and Bader have helped raise so many pups, so these babies are in good paws ;)

Our little Mariachis hit the 4-week mark over the weekend! That means they are halfway there to adoption time! We'll start looking at applications for these babies when they are around 6 weeks old and will be able to go to their forever homes once they are 8 weeks old :D

It's Taco Tuesday, so it's a great day to check in on our little Mariachi babies :D

They are 11 days old and a lot of puppy development has been happening. Nacho, Chorizo, & Queso weigh a pound or more, and even our tiny Taquito weighs over half a pound now! Several of them are even starting to open their little eyes! Grow, puppies, grow!
