Lucy is thriving in her new home on the mountain. A list of some of the issues she's overcome with us:
- peeing, pooping and shaking in fear at anything from being offered cheese snacks, waking up, being alone, going through doorways, being picked up, nail trims, baths, to literally seeing her own shadow
- inability to sleep / nightmares
- extreme separation anxiety
- destructive chewing
Don't give up on fearful dogs. Their whole lives can change with some persistent and determined patience and love. She's such a good girl and so happy now 💗 So proud of her.

Sweet Charli is doing so well. We welcomed her here just a month ago after a difficult journey from St. Croix, and she's already progressed so much. She's bonded with us, sees the mountain as her home and guards it boldly with our other guard dogs (including a hilarious beagle that thinks he's a pitbull), and loves evening TV snuggle time on the couch.
