A litter of 8 adorable little pups was taken to the Randolph county shelter and of course, Freedom Ride was happy to bring them into our network.
All 8 babies are doing great in their foster homes and will be looking for their forever families soon!

Crispin has been adopted!! It took a while but he has found a wonderful family who can give him everything he needs and deserves. Happy tails, Crispin!!
And with that, our apple orchard is now empty and all of our precious apple babies are living their best lives in their forever homes ❤🍏

Please bring me a family who will love me forever and keep teaching me all things I need to learn. I really love all the treats that come when I do what my foster mom asks me to do (she says I'm smart), so more of this "training" stuff would be awesome! Crispin is still looking for the perfect people to give him his forever home, but in the meantime, he is getting plenty of snuggles from his foster sister. Full disclosure, the snuggles usually happen after some very athletic puppy wrestling. If you've got a dog looking for a wrestling opponent/snuggle buddy, maybe Crispin is perfect for you!

Party boy, Crispin, will be making the rounds tomorrow, looking for his perfect forever people. This little buddy can't say no to meeting people, so he just couldn't choose which even to attend...so he'll be making appearances at both! Come meet the life of the party tomorrow in Raleigh and Durham

Crispin is very sweet and cuddly but also loves to play and he plays HARD. He's a very vocal pup when he plays (wrestling involves a lot of barking and puppy growling), and he sometimes gives a hound-dog howl when he thinks his foster mom has been gone too long, so apartments are not a good fit for him. He's doing really well in all of his training (potty-training, crate-training, leash-training), but he's still a baby so he's definitely still learning and will need people to continue to focus on those things. His ideal home would be with people who are active and outside a lot to take him on lots of adventures, and with people who are ready to be strong pack leaders and keep building on his training. He responds really well to training sessions, is very eager to please and very food motivated, so he should be very trainable for all kinds of things! He is extremely friendly and social and loves to meet new people and dogs.
Crispin is doing great learning how to walk on a leash like a good boy! He loves the extra time outside to sniff and explore. He's ready to be some lucky person's adventure buddy! Apply at www.freedom-ride.org
