🚨 Today at 1PM is Edward’s final hold time. ‼️

We are still hoping that there is someone out there for Edward. He is scheduled to be euthanized 9/30 at 1PM. He is the only one of the original 6 dogs that had a final hold date of Monday 9/30 that did not get adopted.

We’d love for him to find a home 🙏

Please share!! Shelter takes appointments starting at 10AM Monday. He only has until 1PM ‼️

Also, Pledges for Edward are now at $500 for an approved rescue.

The shelter staff stated he is a very loving boy, but should be the only dog in the home.

MOM AND HER BABIES SEALED UP IN A SUITCASE...someone on the road saw a moving suitcase and brought the suitcase to the fire department where it was opened.

Johnston County Animal Shelter picked up the family. The family needs a rescue to pull them. Do not know the ID numbers.

Come see us Monday for a drive-thru pet food pantry, thanks to a generous donation from Chewy and the Humane Society of the US! This service is available for community members facing financial challenges to help them feed their pets. The pantry will be open from 12-2 PM on Monday the 15th. BEST NEWS!!!! Hot Pocket was adopted from Lee County Animal Shelter on Tuesday 3/12/24!!! Congratulations on adopting the sweetest girl!!

Update: ya’ll are amazing 🥹 in 4 hours we reached our goal! Thanks for helping this cute little hippo!

We are back with another Ichi and Luke Legacy Fund Wish!

This is hot pocket. She’s available for adoption at the Lee County Animal Shelter and we would like to get her all set up for her future adopters (who ever they may be).

Hot Pocket is scheduled for her spay and vaccinations on Monday!

💰 We are trying to raise $180 to the Ichi and Luke Legacy Fund to support her.

As a reminder the Lee County Shelter does not get support for spay and neuters or vaccines. This is our little way of helping the community pet population and supporting Hot Pocket in finding a great home!
