The artificial insemination seemed to be unsuccessful. The ultrasound showed nothing but four days before her projected due date I noticed her ni***es were a lot bigger. The x-ray showed one puppy, today we had a successful C-section with one big healthy male puppy.

I want to give everyone a heads up, we will be doing an AI this weekend with my girl Foxy using frozen semen from one of the best dogs I’ve ever used as a sire his name is Gino. If the insemination is successful, we should have a litter in mid November, and puppies ready to take home in mid January.
I will hold off on taking deposits until the pregnancy is confirmed, but if anyone is interested, get ahold of me so I can  update my list.

ROSIE
One of my pups from a previous litter, her owners gave me an update, it makes me happy to hear some of the stories about my babies:
“Rosie is absolutely amazing. She recently had a vet visit for her yearly shots and check up and the vet said she is in fantastic shape (she easily runs 4 miles with me and then swims for hours after, and then will play fetch all night. She couldn’t be a better dog and family member. She loves her family, and we love her, and she is always ready to do anything we want to do. I need to get you a video of her swimming. We throw a ball in the pool and she jumps in with abandon after the ball. She’s an amazing athlete.
Last Christmas I was sent to Guam for 6 weeks. I was relieved to have Rosie in the house watching over my family. My mother in law came to visit and “help out.” She is elderly and has COPD so I think she didn’t want to be alone for the holidays. My mother in law is oxygen dependent and sleeps with a machine at night to help her breathe. But she has a habit of taking naps in the living room without her machine. After she had been visiting for a couple of weeks my mother in law was complaining that Rosie was constantly waking her up from her naps by jumping on her. And that didn’t seem like something Rosie would do. Until my wife noticed that when my mother in law was asleep she would stop breathing. Rosie would sit up, c**k her head like she does when she is thinking, and watch her for a few seconds, and then jump on the chair and wake her up. So, somehow, Rosie knew my mother in law wasn’t breathing and was waking her up to save her life. I don’t know how she just knew to do that.
She has some adorable shepherd traits. In short, she exceeds all our expectations. We could not love her more. Thank you for allowing us to have her as a part of our family.”
