Hello Bubble Lounge friends and family, I hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday. I just want to take a minute to thank all of our clients for being loyal and appreciative of all of the hard work and effort we put in to making their fur babies feel refreshed and happy. The Bubble Lounge has been lucky enough to be booming with energy and clients being satisfied with their groom, that they are quickly rebooking. As much as I would love to be able to take every fur baby in right away, I unfortunately do not have the staff to keep up with the demand of appointments. The Bubble Lounge is currently booked out until December, and for the time being we are no longer taking new, full groom appointments. We can take mini grooms(depending on coat and condition) and bath and brushes. I am very hopeful that you all take into consideration the effort that goes into a groom and understand why we cannot take appointments at the moment.

My salon means everything to me as well as every client that comes through my door. Lately, there have been very negative comments being posted about not having time for appointments as well as the work that we do in my salon (such as, we only shave our dogs). This is the furthest thing from true.

Just to give you a little information on how grooming works; when a dog comes in with matting to the skin, it is painful, can cause bleeding, and numbing to the skin. Clients often say to us they do not want their dog shaved, they want them brushed out and de-matted. However, what they don’t realize is when a groomer has to take a comb and comb through each mat, this is now turning a 1 hour appointment slot into a 3 hour appointment because we do not want to hurt the animal and it can cause even more pain and harm to their skin. The groomers then fall behind, and we are running into someone else’s appointment. To save the animal from pain and being injured, shaving the mats out is the only way to help them. This does not occur on every dog, however only the ones that come in too matted to brush out.

With this being said, thank you to those who have been supportive of my business and the love that they also bring through my doors. We love every fur baby like they are our own and we want to make them happy. When we are able to take further appointments, I will gladly let everyone know and be happy to take your fur babies in.
