It's selfie Sunday with Mack and his kennel buddy Laura! Meet Mack, an adorable senior brindle Bulldog who was saved just in time by 11th Hour Rescue from a high-kill shelter. And are we ever glad we did! Mack has matured into a calm and loving gentleman who still enjoys the simple pleasures in life. He’s incredibly affectionate, loves to be near his people, and is a quiet companion when left alone. Though Mack is calmer now, he still loves a good game of fetch with his favorite tennis balls and enjoys walks. He's well-behaved on a leash when out and about and finds pure joy in car rides, rolling around playfully in the backseat. Mack is housebroken and crate trained. This sweet boy can get a little overstimulated when excited, so a home with dog-savvy adults and older children would be ideal. He would thrive as the only pet in the home, but does well walking past other dogs in the neighborhood. Our Mack recently had an ear hematoma surgery. He is recovering well, but sure would prefer being in a home! If you can’t adopt, you can always foster, for any amount of time.

Mack is one of many dogs who lives at our kennel— and has for years.

Yes, they’re all well loved.
Yes, they get daily enrichment and walks.
Yes, they are safe and warm.

But at the end of the day, Mack and many others, spend day in and day out in a kennel environment, which is not a home. Please please please help us help Mack and all the animals we care for by sharing, liking, volunteering, fostering, or adopting.

Meet Dillon also known as Dilly, Dill Pickle, Dilly Bar and the Dillonator! Dillon is a handsome senior boy with literally the cutest underbite ever! He is housebroken, non-destructive when left alone, walks great on leash and absolutely loves car rides! He also loves to run around and play fetch! Dillon is good with dogs. He can be a little sensitive to being petted at first but once you're his buddy, he just loves to cuddle (watch out he snores and hogs the bed!). He would do best in a low traffic home with dog savvy adults. Please give this boy a chance and let him live his senior years in a home. Adopt Dillon at ehrdogs.org

Mack is housebroken, crate trained and super quiet when left alone. He is also very affectionate and loves being near his people. He really enjoys going for long walks, playing fetch all day long and does great on a leash. Mack loves going for car rides and will entertain himself in the backseat, rolling around on his back. When Mack is excited, he can get a little overstimulated so a home with dog savvy adults would be best for him. He would do best as the only pet in the home but he's fine walking by dogs in the neighborhood and parks. UPDATE - Adopted! 💕

🚨 GENTLE GIANT ALERT! 🚨

Any Twilight fans out there? Beautiful pup Renesmee is about 9 months old and 62 lbs. She had a DNA test done by her previous family and it showed that she is 50% Pyrenees and 25% cane corso! She was surrendered by her family recently and Renesmee is so confused and crying in her kennel run. 🥺

She doesn't understand why the only family she knew has left her. Renesmee is a happy, playful girl that gets along well with children (she lived with a 4 year old) and other dogs (she lived with a Jack Russell Terrier). She can be a little scared at first but warms up quickly. This smart girl knows basic commands like SIT, PAW, LAY DOWN and STAY. Renesmee also walks nicely on a leash despite being a big girl!
