🐥 Chicks Are LIVE! 🐥
It is officially the start of the 2025 chick season, and we are so excited to help you get started with your flock! 🎉 Pre-orders are now open for February pickup dates. Here is what you need to know:

📅 Pickup Dates:
• February 14th and 22nd are now available for pre-order at both locations.
• March pickup dates and beyond will be listed soon but will not open for pre-orders until the end of this month.

📢 Important Updates for This Year:
• No Special Orders: We are not offering custom orders this year, but do not worry! We will be adding new breeds throughout the season.
• Chick Dates: We are rolling out pre-order dates as we finalize them. What is listed now is not the full lineup. We will have more chicks arriving March through June.
• No Ducks, Geese, or Turkeys (For Now): We are taking this month by month, so stay tuned for updates.

• Call us to place your order over the phone.
• Visit us in person at either store, and we will be happy to help you.

We know you’ve been clucking with excitement and asking about chicks, and trust us, we’re just as eager as you are! Here’s the latest:

✨ The scoop: We’re waiting on final pricing from our hatchery. As soon as we have it (hopefully this week 🤞), February’s chicks will be available for pre-order online!

📅 How pre-orders will work: Pre-orders will open one month in advance of the chicks’ arrival dates to keep things running smoothly while the stores are for sale. For now, we’re focusing on bringing you the best selection without special orders this year.

📅 Reminder: Chicks are set to arrive in the second week of February at both Rathdrum and Otis Orchards.

The Rumors Are True – Country Junction Farm & Feed is for Sale

After nearly 10 wonderful years of serving our community, we’ve decided to sell the stores. This wasn’t an easy decision, but as life shifts and priorities change, we’ve realized it’s time to pass the torch to someone who can make the stores their priority.

We’ll be honest: the past year has been tough, especially with the construction near our Rathdrum location. But the good news is that things are picking back up, and the stores are well-positioned for someone ready to dive in and take them to the next level. These businesses have a strong foundation, loyal customers, and a great community that supports them.

This is a turnkey operation with two locations:
• Rathdrum: We own the land and the building.
• Otis Orchards: This location is leased, and we’ll be discussing details with the landlord soon.

We’re still in the early stages and don’t have anything officially listed yet. If you or someone you know is interested in learning more, please reach out to us at [email protected].

We want to emphasize how much this community has meant to us. While we’re stepping away from the business, we’re not leaving the area. You’ll still see us around—at the grocery store, supporting local shops, and staying connected with the friends we’ve made through the years.
