We did not have our regularly scheduled Yappy Hour today, due to our lead trainer going to the dentist and not being able to talk much. Since I can’t talk, check out The Pet Connection Awesome Online Auction and the video down below!
Lucky for me, good training requires the correct timing, but very little words.
A lot of people may even be a little bored watching one of our training sessions.
Zeus tends to focus on that door behind the x-pen (where the boarding dogs are) and used to try to push past the x-pen.
Can anyone guess what we’re doing here?
A quick Pet Connection update

Hi friends. Melody will do yappy hour later tonight. Sorry for the delay.

Sully, our friend from Pawsitive Tails Dog Rescue, came to board and train with us from a local shelter after being placed on the euthanasia list for his skin allergies and aversion to restraint.
He was reactive during every vet visit at the shelter.
So today when we took Sully to the vet, we made it super fun! We ate chicken, met some fun new friends, we played!
When it came time to swab Sully’s ears and put in the ear ointment, we put his party hat on, fed him chicken, and used zero restraint.
Sully was perfect. No growling or attempts to bite, even though his ears were definitely painful. He’s now on some more medication and will be feeling good as new in a couple days!
Our Atwood is a CHAMPION!
Atwood was once known as the "invisible dog" at the local shelter, and now he is the local champion with tons of fans!
Big thank you to everyone that participated in the BarK Rescue Madness competition and voted for our boy!
Melody was in town yesterday, so she got to meet the champion and give him his much deserved prizes herself!
We could not do this without all of you supporting us along the way, so thank you so much to everyone. Let's continue to share Atwood until he finds his forever home!
PS - He would like everyone to know he learned to sit pretty yesterday, and he looks so pretty when he does it.
