25 wild burros who were rounded up in the Canyonlands UT HMA died of bronchial pneumonia with an underlying viral infection identified as GAMMAHERPES. The deaths occurred March 11– 21. This is not the first time for a disease outbreak at the Axtell corrals, and it is not how the public intends for these captured animals to die.

❤️ Yesterday we said goodbye to Harley and Too Much. Two great horses. They were both 27 years old. ❤️

Harley was probably one of the greatest school horses, he probably taught hundreds of people how to ride. Anyone could ride him, and everyone did. He spend his last retired years on the grass, here in florida, with his beloved mare Star. Living the good life.

Too Much, or Mucho as we called him, was my competition horse for a number of years and then taught advanced lessons in our program. He also spent his last years retired on the grass with his best buddy Frank, wandering around under the oaks.
