Our dear sweet Athena passed peacefully today, just over a week after her third birthday. She lived a full and beautiful life, and is now reunited with her mom and sisters over the rainbow bridge. Rest peacefully sweet girl. “Guardians often visit us throughout our entire lives. They sometimes have wings to wrap around and embrace us when we need them the most. Feel like the last of the “dusty bits” in your mix is such a waste? Me too! I sifted the last bit of my mix through a colander to separate the un-usable bits from the good stuff, added some baby oatmeal, hot water and a bit of peanut butter, to make some healthy “treats” for my boys. Even the babies made an appearance to check out the deliciousness. I plan to freeze the rest in an ice cube trays to keep on hand for treats. Simply head and serve.
