5 weeks old! This week we explored the backyard, got to play in water, moved to our big kid play area (no more baby whelping box for us) and got our baby teeth.

We can’t wait to meet our forever families in a few weeks! If you are hoping to add one of these gorgeous fur babies to your family, don’t hesitate to request an application!

Two weeks! Time is flying. We love these toddlers who are learning to sit and walk like actual dogs, bark, wag their tails… and biggest news… eyes are open! They don’t know how to use them yet but they stare at mama and try to make sense of what they see. McClain, Tinsel, Noelle, Clarence, Collins, Bernard, Clark, George, Jovie, and Margo.

That was an exciting night! 10 little wrigglers arrived in the middle of the night. Mama and all babies are doing well. Here’s the line up;
2 black boys
1 brown boy
3 brown and white girls
2 black and white boys
2 blondes (one boy and one girl). Naming and introductions coming soon.

Eleanor, Uncle Ollie and Walt went to the vet today. Walter practiced his manners at the door as various pets walked in and out. Oliver got his yearly allergy shot- this old man has become allergic to mosquitoes! And Eleanor was here for (drum roll please) her Perinatal ultrasound! Yep! There’s little good boys and little good girls in the oven.

We don’t have an estimate yet as they are too wiggly at this age. We follow up with an X-ray to count spines on the 24th. Any guesses?

Pro tip, bring a small container of diced bacon with you to the vet. Every time your dog looks at you while patiently waiting, treat! A cat whines? Treat! The door opens. Treat! Someone says “hi” and they don’t dart toward them for hugs. Treat!
Now they love the vet.

Doodles can make great travel buddies! We found a dog friendly hotel in Huntington Beach for this getaway. Walter is treated like the family member he is. .fashionisland and many other shops at fashion island are always dog friendly too. So Walter helped Gaby and me find clothes for the upcoming wedding and graduation weekends. Ok, maybe he didn’t exactly help, but he did get a lot of attention and got to practice his “good boy” manners.

So fun to have Elliot (Willie) join us for a few days while his family was traveling. He is as sweet as he is handsome.

We also have big brother Mozart (Moose) here for the holidays. It was a fun family reunion!
