Gone to the Dogs Rescue Inc.'s mission is to rescue and rehabilitate pets at risk of euthanasia at the highest-kill shelters in the Los Angeles area. Vision

Gone to the Dogs Rescue makes educated decisions based on inherent compassion, education, honesty, ethics, and altruistic intention to rescue homeless pets. We have an accountability for decisions, actions, and behaviors that affect the safety and well-being of our animals, our volunteers and the community we serve. We have a responsibility to educate the community regarding the importance of accountable pet parenting, spay/neuter, and promotion of pet health.

Fireworks may be beautiful to us, but they can be terrifying for our furry friends. Many animals get lost during celebrations due to fear and panic. 💔

Please keep your companion animals safe indoors, create a calm space, and ensure they are wearing identification tags.

One of the best things about fostering dogs is that I am the first call when they need pup sitting! Bandit has come over for a visit while his family traveled for the holidays & we’re so happy to pupsit.

We love to see our foster dogs thriving. Bandit was rescued from San Bernardino City Shelter with his eye ball traumatically injured & hanging out of his eye socket…

He’s 💯 % healed physically & emotionally. He loves everyone and so loyal to his family sometime guard dog & full time cuddle buddy ❤️

Ziggy needs help, the old excuse of “I’m moving and refuse to take my dog with me”…..Carson is one of the best funded county shelters in LA and also the deadliest. Located 10 minute drive from the richest communities of South Bay Los Angeles.

This is amazing thank you so much Springdale Pet Ranch! The skyrocketing prices of supplies have affected us so much, this will help us start 2025 off on the right foot and able to feed our foster dogs & rescue some dogs in need!

we LOVE getting pupdates especially around the holidays…Bernie is so cozy with his new family & my heart is so full. We rescued a very scared pup, he took a minute to trust people and after a few weeks of decompression & learning how to live inside a home, he went on over to to gain some confidence & refine his manners. What I got back in my home was a completely different dog. He was so ready at to meet his family. A month later, this PUPDATE gives me so much gratitude. This venture was truly a team effort, our pack of amazing volunteers and our friends who believe in our mission make magic happen. Honored to work with the most compassionate people who love the . Onwards & Upwards ❤️🐕🍷

Man, yesterday was pretty epic…8 #underdogs found their homes. Congrats to Brittany, Natasha, Asher, Avery, Murphy, Cooper, Honey & Brooke. We had THREE previous adopters of ours come BACK to adopt from us 🥰 one from over 11 years ago, that’s pretty cool. Thank you @subarupacific for the very warm event hosting & the tacos from @hectorstacos03. We are so very grateful for our friends coming out to donate & in support of our mobile adoption project❤️🐕 THANK YOU to Rita @wanderlustvintagetrailers for always showing up for the underdogs and helping us get one step closer to realizing our vision. River was picked up as a “stray” and carted to the shelter where no one came looking for him. Of course…..He’s 10+ geriatric and has been through hell. We’ll get him care & fostered. Every Senior dog deserves to live their golden years in a warm home with hood food and good people. Today was River’s ticket to that life. Please, microchip and spay and neuter your pets.
