Gone to the Dogs Rescue Inc.'s mission is to rescue and rehabilitate pets at risk of euthanasia at the highest-kill shelters in the Los Angeles area. Vision

Gone to the Dogs Rescue makes educated decisions based on inherent compassion, education, honesty, ethics, and altruistic intention to rescue homeless pets. We have an accountability for decisions, actions, and behaviors that affect the safety and well-being of our animals, our volunteers and the community we serve. We have a responsibility to educate the community regarding the importance of accountable pet parenting, spay/neuter, and promotion of pet health.

Brody is a fantastic slim medium sized border collie, only 42lbs! He is between 10-12mos and already house & crate trained! He’s very social, not a high prey drive at all, he’s quite the easiest border collie we’ve ever fostered! Hes great with large & small dogs. We’ve met a few cats and hes not interested in them.

We’ve had no applications or interest to adopt him and we’re so puzzled. Adoptions are very slow these last few months 😳

Stats: border collie, red, male neutered, young, microchipped, vaccinated (no suspected MDR1 gene) and HEALTHY! We’ve taken a very diligent routine & training technique with him and it’s paid off. It helps that he’s also border collie whip smart. He traveks well in the car, sleeps through the night, super obedient & eager to please, loves children!

Hes more of a family dog than a working dog, and he loves puzzles, games & does well with nosework.

Why? She’s great! She’s house trained, good with other dogs, couch potato, easy on a leash. Plus she’s a rat terrier and you’ll have NO vermin problem in your yard or home with Zayda, she’ll protect you from unwanted critters invading your space!

Zayda was rescued from Kern County Shelter with her babies (who’ve been adopted) now this pretty girl with Liz Taylor 💅🏾 eyeliner is ready for her forever. We picture a retiree or couple who can take Zayda on walks & RV trips! She’d love being your companion!
