We are so very grateful to announce that has found his forever home! He’s waited patiently 6 long months and in that time he’s transformed from a naked shivering fearful hoarding dog to a vibrant, fun, people loving, food loving social butterfly. He was so bored at foster mom’s the last month because he had to share my attention with a few others (whiskey, Betty, Harriett etc) and when Christina came over to meet him we were ecstatic. Everyone in the family got to meet him and his new brother Arthur is warming up to the idea of sharing his space. Arthur’s long time sibling recently passed away so Antonio has some big paws to fill. We see a fast friendship bond forming 🄹 thank you Christina & family for loving this tender hearted ā¤ļø from to the central coast, Antonio beat the odds. Mission…accomplished. Onwards & Upwards young man! Thank you for your help in saving dogs like Antonio and giving them a second chance!

It’s been a very patient but grueling time with former hoarding dog . We rescued him back with 5 others from in July 2025, and he was so fearful he wouldn’t allow us to touch him. But he would’ve been euthanized, quickly in the shelter, so we had to save him. He’s been our work in progress for 6 months now. He’s navigating foster life slowly but surely. We finally were able to catch him & put a collar on him about 2 months ago. Now we’re leashing him but we still have to take measures to corner him & he’s still scared. Once he gets out to pack walk he LOVES IT! Just wish he wasn’t still frightened stiff when the leash comes out. This project dog will take more time. Dogs like Randy who take up a spot and much time in our foster homes in rescue slow our ability to rescue more urgent dogs. Unfortunately with limited man power & even more limited funding, we’re in a holding pattern until Randy, Lacey & Whiskey (all long timers) can get homes. We work with them every day. We hope 2026 is better than 2025. At least for Randy it’s looking like it is. Foster based rescue is tough sometimes…ok well all the time. But it can be very rewarding, especially witnessing the progress of Randy. Keep up the good work, good boyā¤ļø

Looking for help for this glorious 5 month old named Judah. His parents loved him, they traveled back to a country to renew their visas only to find out the visa renewal process is frozen due to political upheaval. They are stuck outside the US, unexpectedly & heartbroken. Judah was only supposed to be with their friend for a few weeks, now indefinitely. Judah’s caretaker does not have time for a dog permanently. They are gone long hours and this puppy is crated all day. Judah has the basics, is crate trained, obviously. He’s vaccinated. He’s a good puppy, clean slate, ready to work or to mold into the obedient dog everyone loves. Anyone up for fostering or adopting this cute lad? It’s not his fault, he had people, they were sent away being told they can come back with renewed visas and they weren’t. The popularity of this breed in recent years has led to them being found in shelters more and more. We don’t want to see Judah become another Malinois that’s goes to a shelter. Please share ā¤ļø

On this Giving Tuesday (we are practicing a Giving Month), we understand that you have a multitude of choices for giving, and especially now with inflation skyrocketing, foundations facing difficulties, and charitable giving assuming a lower priority. Our organizational costs persist, including veterinary care, flea/tick prevention, dog food, and training treats, particularly for dogs motivated by food. We value every dollar and make it count.

Thank you for your support, we hope to serve abandoned and neglected dogs throughout the new year, with your help we CAN persevereā¤ļøšŸ™šŸ¼
