Hey look who’s back in rescue? Yep, is back with foster momma, his family wasn’t the right fit for him, their lifestyle was too unstable and unstructured. Spike needs some good routine, a couple of fast paced walks per day & a good space to chill & learn the ins and outs of what’s expected of him. Strong leadership is key, he needs to respect the household leader & have consistency in that leadership. He’s a working dog so practice with tasks, commands daily is key. Young rowdy, hyper kids are a little too much for him especially if no boundaries or manners or oversight. So we’re going to look for a home without kids, or older kids, 16 & up. Obedient & cool/calm kids may be ok but definitely NO screaming, running amok with visitors, this environment isn’t for him. He’s pretty great at foster moms with visitors but definitely needs a strong leader, a confident in charge person of the household to be is go to person. He is crate & leash trained, responds to positive reinforcement (no yelling or high pitched talking or baby talk) he’s a so he’s a working dog. Look for his new bio on coming soon!
