Snowball Ballpit

🎄🐾 On the 6th day of Christmas, our pups dove into a snowy adventure! ❄️ Today’s Snowball Ballpit was a winter wonderland of fun! Dogs big and small had a blast digging, and pouncing through our winter themed ball pit of “snowballs" for treats. 🐶💙 It’s safe to say tails were wagging and spirits were bright! Stay tuned as we unwrap more holiday magic in our 12 Days of Christmas celebration! 🎁✨

Day 1 of the 12 days of Rainier Dog Christmas! Today the dogs played the Christmas Card Sniff. It is a simple, 1-on-1 game, but it works wonders for mental stimulation. Dogs love scent detection games! Each dog set out to find the treat scented Christmas card among the 8 Christmas cards for a yummy snack reward. We had several skilled scent work detectives today! 👃 This exercise builds focus and curiosity. Plus, the low physical impact makes it great for dogs that might need a gentler activity. Training/ enrichment room

This is our training/enrichment room. Today the pad and pour flooring is getting completed. Rubber flooring under an easy to clean and awesomely green soft top epoxy. It is anti fatigue, low impact flooring. We don't want your dogs running and slipping on concrete here. You won't find a place with better flooring for your pups joints when they are playing and learning!

Forest Scent Space

🌲🐾 Today, Crew had a blast exploring our forest-themed scent space! 🐾🌲 Our enrichment team set up an immersive scent experience filled with the natural aromas and textures of the forest, encouraging Crew to follow his nose, discover hidden treats, and fully engage his senses. It’s always amazing to watch our pups tap into their natural instincts, and Crew really embraced the adventure! This kind of enrichment is part of our dedication to providing mentally stimulating activities tailored to each dog’s unique needs. Way to go, Crew! 🐶✨

The fall season is definitely a favorite around here! We had a blast this weekend trying out new enrichments 🎃

The Snuffle Cafe

🌟 Introducing the Snuffle Café at Rainier Dog Resort! 🌟 We have been busy creating new activities to help your dog relax, unwind, and tap into their natural instincts through enrichment. Our Snuffle Café activity is the perfect solo enrichment activity! 🐾 During this calming sensory experience, your pup will engage with a snuffle mats and puzzles, encouraging their natural foraging instincts while promoting calmness and reducing stress. It’s not just fun—it’s a great mental workout too, helping them build confidence and a sense of accomplishment! ✨ Dogs with allergies or dogs on a special diet can still participate. Feel free to bring their special diet or approved treats from home at drop off. Activities like the Snuffle Cafe - Solo will be included in our Pampered Pooch program for food motivated daycare and boarding guests. Or as an add-on solo extra for guests participating in the Best Furiends group program. This is one of many enrichment activities we have in the works! We will continue to highlight all the solo, pair and group activities on our page leading up to our big move. Stay tuned!
