🌟 WAGD Brag Alert! 🌟

Our very own Sharon, WAGD co-owner, and her perfect girl Ripley crushed it at the North Texas Nosework Club trial on November 2nd! 💪🐾

Ripley officially earned her UKC Elite Nosework Title! 🎉

These two have been chasing that last Q for a while, and this weekend everything clicked. Not only did they snag the title, they also brought home a Judges Team Medal and 2nd Place in Interiors! 🤩

Sharon says, “Ripley is a joy to train, to work with, and to live with,” and we couldn’t agree more. We’re so proud of this amazing team! ❤️🐶

Sharon would like to give a huge thank you to WAGD Nose Work instructor Ellen Heavner for her expert coaching and patience, and to the North Texas Nosework Club for hosting another fantastic, well-run trial. 🙌

Help us congratulate Sharon & Ripley! 🎉

🎉Congratulations to Taylor B. and Zayden, her 5-year-old Yorkie for their recent Nose Work trial success!

Zayden has been training in Nose Work for three years with WAGD instructor Ellen Heavner, and recently he competed at the NorTex Scent Work Club’s Fall Trial at La Moderna Stadium in Cleburne.

"A huge thank-you to everyone who helped make this event such a great experience!, said Taylor. "This was Zayden’s third AKC Scent Work trial, and he had an incredible weekend — earning four Qs in Novice elements and achieving his first THREE Novice titles!"

He also brought home two Judge’s Choice medals. Check out our website or give us a call at 214-2697-3000 on more information about how you and your pup can join the Nose Work fun!

🎃 Halloween Safety Tips for dog owners
1️⃣ Keep candy out of reach
2️⃣ Create a quiet space
👉 Set up a cozy retreat with toys or a chew. A great time to use a Toppl, a chew, or a favorite puzzle toy!
3️⃣ Watch those costumes
If dressing up your dog:
✔️ Comfortable fit
✔️ Your pup is comfortable moving and taking treats, if not consider a special collar or bandana
4️⃣ Keep ID tags & leashes on
5️⃣ Evening walk before festivities
Let your pup get their energy out before things get busy — and avoid peak trick-or-treat time if your dog gets nervous.
